Terrible acting, worse script

I honestly believe that if I did not enjoy good movies and good actors, I would have LOVED New Moon. Too bad I have taste. The only actor in the entire film who pulled his weight was the one who played Bella's dad Charlie. Everyone else gave awkward performances the entire movie. The character who plays Jasper is awful. Every scene he is in he looks and sounds awkward. Kristen Stewart simply sighs and gasps in every scene she's in. Stupid. And every other minor character is just bad. I've read all of the books and I enjoyed them. But they're not super fantastically written novels. They are OK teen romances. And that's all I should have expected from this movie: an OK teen romance. I expected more, and I got way less.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
