Much better than the first!

The second installment of the Twilight saga was without a doubt better than the first. The dialogue was much improved and only once or twice resembled a show on the WB. I am a fan of these books and although much of Jacob's story was left out, I was pleased with the screenplay overall. The actors are much more comfortable with their characters even though Edward is still a little stiff even for a vampire. Bella has even toned down that lip thing she does that someone must have told her is submissive and sexy but comes off as rehearsed. All in all I was very happy with the movie and thoroughly entertained. The forest scenes were crisp and well shot. The new director worked hard on this film and it's quite apparent.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
