It was a good movie. It should've been longer to encompass the book better. There were a lot of little differences. I wish that Jacob acted more angry and Edward had a better body.

I was completely disappointed with this movie. I really expected more, better acting and editing. Scenes that weren't in the book were added to the movie and a lot of wonderful detail that was in the book was not included in the movie. I wish people would stop raving about this movie so that the next one really bumps it up. However, I'm really not sure I would see the next movie, after watching this one.

New Moon was not a disappointment like Twilight was. I am a huge fan of the books, and this movie stayed with the book, and had the important parts of the book in the movie. I was impressed with how they CGI'd the wolves into the movie, they look awesome!! I will defientiely go see the movie again, before it comes out on DVD.

This movie was a great sequel to Twilight. And leaves you wanting to see or read more right away! Bella mumbles a bit too much in the movie for me, especially being an "older" 18-year-old in the move. Jake seems to be the only mature one. Edward pulls some stupid stunts and hurts Bella...will Bella hurt him back??? Maybe...

Read all the books. Love all the movies that are out. Cant wait for the last 2 movies.

I have read all four books and was not disappointed with either movie. New Moon followed the book pretty well. I know there were things added in that weren't in the book but to me that just made it better. I love the ending and the addition of some lighter, funny parts. I would definitely recommend this movie to friends.

I loved this movie! I did love Twilight better, I dont know, I think Catherine Hardwick did a better job directing. However, the vampires actually looked like vampires in this movie. That is definitely a plus, I love the new eye color!

We made it a Girls Night Out and had a blast. As you may imagine five girls, New Moon, Jacob & Edward...Yeah, we screamed our lungs out everytime Jacob (for me) and Eward (for others) appeared, we were told to shut up by a senior couple behind me. Out of respect for my elders I tried to get a hold of myself but then THEY started screaming and saying things outloud. Yeah, it was a fun experience ...can't wait for the next one! I'll most likely watch it again in a couple weeks because I know I missed a lot of stuff with all the yelling going on. It was especially hillarious when people stayed quiet and only a guy screamed for Edward. LOL

The first movie dragged and seemed boring to me, but they put much more into this one. New Moon kept my interest, the story seemed to flow better, and I was always waiting to see what was next. Definitely worth it. The whole audience gasped at the cliffhanger. Great job!

All the actors and actresses in this film are without a doubt incredibly talented. The complete transformation of "Jacob" was amazing. The special effects were incredible!! And the suspense is amazing. I highly recommend everyone who isn't an old fuddy duddy to go and see this movie! ENJOY!!

New Moon was a great deal of fun for my daughter, but I thought it was just okay. The movie continued the saga of the vampires in love and adds the twist of their nemesis the werewolves (wow that sounds like another movie story line, how original). In all the movie was actually entertaining, but I would have to say it is in the category of Chick Flick.

I loved the movie. I am a huge Twilight fan. Over all the movie was exciting to watch. Throughout the movie, my friend Jackie and I were going along with the story in the book with the story of the movie and telling each other what was added and taken out. We were also telling each other what chapter of the book the movie was on. The ending was not what I expected, but it works for leaving the movie wide open for the third movie that is coming out in June.

I read all 4 books, as so many have.
I really enjoyed the way they handle the wolves, but I think they could have explained in a couple of lines, why the wolves didn't wear much clothing in human form. This would've given some insight to those who hadn't read the book. The reason is that they rip up their clothes when they transform, and their unusually high temp body heat keeps them from needing or wanting clothing on much of the time.
Also, there was a slight mention of Jasper's power. If you didn't already know going into the movie, that would've been confusing. Also, they kind of made Jasper look like an idiot.
The cliff hanger was great, and true to the story.

I was thrilled with the way the new director did this movie. It had more of the feeling you got when reading the books. You can imagine you are the characters and feel what they would be feeling with each event, the sadness, the anger, the love, etc. I am also glad that they didn't do like a lot of the other series, and wait a year or so to bring out the next movie. I am already looking forward to and counting down until June 30th.

The best thing in the movie is Kristen Stewarts acting (next to Taylors 34 pack). The book is still better and helps you really understand Jacob and Bellas relationship. I think the films still need to brought up another level, especially since the saga is such a phenom. Its definitely worth checking out, whether you're a twi hard fan or not!

I was totally blown away by this movie, not only was the main characters more in sync, but just the way it was pulled together, was just WOW!!!! I love all the action the "Pack" was involved in and the transformation of Jacob to Wolf....Breathless!!! But Edward will always have my last breath!!! The experience we had at the theater was kind of bad,. There was a group of 10 kids on the very top row talking the whole time, screaming everytime they saw Edward or Jake without a shirt.
My kid loved the movie. I liked it too but I thought the first hour was too slow. I didn't really get into it until the second hour when the action started, The special effects were cool. The cliffhanger at the end made the whole movie really. Now we can't wait for the next one to come out.

I enjoyed "New Moon" simply for the fact the cinematography was such an upgrade from "Twilight"... you can tell they had a bigger budget for this one. All the longing and romance was there, as well as some suspense and action! I didnt think I was going to like the effects for the werewolves, but it was great! The sounds/facial expressions were life-like.
One thing we need? Professional critics around the ages of 25-45 (who understand the saga) to be writing the reviews in the paper... NOT 50 year old men who dont get it obviously!

Every scene is memorable for either its humor, tragedy, or special effects. Jacob promising to be with Bella, and the next instance, going back on his promise is excellent acting on the side of both actors. This is clearly Taylor's movie to shine in and does he shine! "Hello biceps" should be his nick name. Robert Pattison's acting was very good, he emotes well and the Voltouri scenes will no doubt be played over and over once the dvds come out. There will be more scenes that fans will rerun over and over again. Clearly seeing the movie once is not enough. There is always something you missed the first time that you can pick up the second time. Be prepared to see this flick at least twice if not thrice.
