Not as good as expected but...

I would still recommend it.
It is obviously the kind of script that is best to kept for theater. The acting was great I think. It was humorous too. But even with many qualities, there was something awkward and almost irritating about this movie. It really saddens me to write this down because I really wanted to LOVE this movie. Jodie Foster's character got on my nerves towards the end and she irritated me so much that it almost made me want the movie to end. Christoph Waltz's character was annoying too. But the thing is, if you think about it, all these characters were VERY realistic and you have to applaud the actors for their performance.
The going back and forth between the hallway and the inside of the apt was awkward as well.
Something was just off.
It was humorous though. And I think Kate Winslet was great as she always is and even though I am not a John Reilly fan AT ALL, he ended up being my favorite character.
I'd actually say it is still worth seeing. It's just a very intense movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Somewhat better acting, better plot, less thrill

First off, I think Kristen Stewart's acting and portraying of Bella got so much better. The first movie was so painful to watch for me. I thought she was terrible in it but she did a good job in this one. I saw more of her as an individual, less of a " I trust you Edward". I thought Robert Pattinson on the other hand wasn't as good. I mean the movie was less about him in a way. Lautner gave a good performance I thought.
I personally liked the plot in this movie. It seemed less teenager like. Some of it was still a bit cheesy but in all much better.
If you are going to see this mobie bc of all the hype about the sex scene, stay home. It is subjective as it should be but something was missing...
Overwall, I think the ladies in this movie did a great jobs, all of the Cullens sisters did great. I liked the special effect at the end and also how they transformed Bella.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I had only seen parts of the first Narnia but went with my daughter and I really liked it. My daughter loved the special effects, the nmphs and the dragon!
I thought the movie was predictable but I am an adult so...
What I didn't like was how I had to pay extra for 3d when really it was useless. I could have had my glasses off the entire time and not know the difference.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My daughter and I both liked the movie. The humor was great, What I liked best was the stress they put on Jacob and Edwards's newfound respect for each other and how they were able to cooperate to protect Bella.
At this point I am sick of the romance and cannot wait for the next chapter to take us to the next step.
The action and special effects were not as good as the two previous Twilight and New Moon but it was still ok to watch.
As always it is slow to start...
My Favorite Characters in this one were Jasper and Alice as they both had important roles in this chapter.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This is definitely the most beautiful movie ever made. The special effects are fantastic, the story is touching, human, full of love, faith, peace. It is a movie that anyone can identify with I think. The colors are beautiful, The language is beautiful. It is something for the entire family! It is a must see at the theater. I want to see it again soon! James Cameron outdid himself, yet again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The experience we had at the theater was kind of bad,. There was a group of 10 kids on the very top row talking the whole time, screaming everytime they saw Edward or Jake without a shirt.
My kid loved the movie. I liked it too but I thought the first hour was too slow. I didn't really get into it until the second hour when the action started, The special effects were cool. The cliffhanger at the end made the whole movie really. Now we can't wait for the next one to come out.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
