I love the Twillight books, so I wanted to love this movie. However, I found myself struggling. The movie was choppy, lacked flow, at times the acting was bad and there was so much music. It was distracting!!!!! As far as action, there was a lot and the special affects were really cool. The overall picture quality was crisper. I have to say as an Edward fan, Jacob rocked this movie and made me want to change teams!

Taylor Lautner's performance was impressive. He really turned it up a notch. I missed seeing more of the high school friends and the Cullens. I realize it closely followed the book, but I still wanted to see more of those characters. I did not like what they did with the Cullen's eyes! They look other-worldly, and would never blend in to a normal setting. Other than that, I found it very entertaining and engaging. Can't wait for the next one!

The movie was pretty close to the book, yeah it left out little details, but you can't fit everything into the movie. This movie was so much better than twilight! They even managed to make parts of the movie funny! The scenes look good, characters dress better, make-up and wigs look alot better. If you are a fan of the twilight saga... SEE IT YOU WILL LOVE IT!

I'm a big Twilight Fan and couldn't wait to see New Moon, It was everything I expected. I loved how even though Edward wasn't in the movie the entire time the flashes of him coming and going were awesome. The Actors have all grown so much with their acting since the first sequel. It was fantastic and of course who wouldn't want to see all those "Hot" guys. Can't wait until Eclipse, I hear it's going to be even better! I'm off to see New Moon again.

I fully believe the Movie out did the book this time. I loved all the books but when it came to New Moon I was a bit sad by thee lack of Edward even though it was needed. I LOVED this movie. The book has some long drawn out parts that help keep the book version going but, I am glad they didn't have them in the movie. The portion without Edward wasn't too bad at all. I loved the way the scenes were shot and the way they characters interacted with each other. I loved it so much I am ready to go see it again! Alice was hilarious when it came to Jacob. My favorite line was when she said she would be back when Bella let the dog out. Overall from 1-10 it was a 20. It surpassed all my hopes for the movie.

I took my daughter who read the Twilight series. I on the other hand didn't. I was on team Edward before and now I'm on team Jacob!! It was a GREAT movie, the ending was a total surprise.

I went to see New Moon last night with very high expectations. When I sat down in the theater I was ready for a really good movie. From the very beginning to the very end I was not let down once. I was able to completely lose myself in the film and feel the same feeling as the main characters. New Moon definitely has way more emotions than Twilight, and the actors did a good job in portraying them.

I thought it was great. Bella wasn't as awkward and they took time developing the scenes more appropriately. I loved the fight scenes. And, the running scenes were so much better. I hope they continue to use the greatest technology available as we move to the last two books do to the creative nature of them. Bella's character needs to move out of anything awkward and move to a more confident character and Edward needs to continue to warm as well. Keep up the good work. I am so glad they are working to stay true to the story line.

This movie started out slow and the book did also. New Moon followed the plot of the book better and had a better view of what was going on better than Twilight did. I would definitely recommend seeing this New Moon. Can't wait for the next!!

This representation of the New Moon novel was very well done. It followed the book very well, with only a few changes for time's sake. It was visually dynamic. The characters were well played and fully developed. Bella's anguish and heart break was expressed well. Jacob's sweet, helpful demeanor made him a very lovable character. Edward's appearance changed greatly from the beginning of the movie to the end, his heartbreak is apparent in his face.
Overall, I just loved this movie. So much better than the first, and hopefully from here it will only get better :)

I loved how well the movie followed the book and overall I thought it was a good movie, just that the soundtrack did not match to certain scenes, and where was the Twilight theme song? Yeah, the movie is supposed to be depressing, but the music doesn't have to be all the time. I still LOVE the series though, I can't wait to see it again.

...but it was still awful. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are horrible actors, and do not do Stephenie Meyer's characters justice. As a fan of the book series, I'm saddened that they can't make a decent movie from them.

I really liked the sequel to Twilight, New Moon. I would actually agree with some people, I did expect a little bit more fighting in the fighting scenes. They showed all the best fighting scenes in the previews all ready. They do give out too much info in the previews and that needs to stop!

I loved this movie!
I read the books a while ago, couldn't really remember some of the stuff that happened in this book but once the film started it all came back! I thought Kristen, Rob Pat & Taylor were amazing in this movie! THEY DID THE MOVIE JUSTICE THIS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Acting was great, Volturi was amazing, way better director! Great special effects!
All in all i give it a 5 out of 5 stars!

I wasn't a very big twilight fan, but after reading the book i kind of got hooked onto the movie, then with new moon i decided reading the book was the better choice. Although the movie was very VERY!! different from the book, which was a small disappointment, it was really great. Edward leaving Bella, Jacob taking over :o) !!...it was utter crazyness. The best part by far was watching Alice walk back into Bella's life!...It was awesome watching....and i would truly recommend people watch it...it's truly not as cheesy as twilight was in a way....much more mature and show's a completely different side of the now, "more grown up," Bella, Jacob, and Edward.

I was really hoping when I saw this movie that it would be as good as the book. I wasn't disappointed!! The wolves were amazing! I was surprised at how funny the movie was with all the smart remarks made by the characters! I would highly recommend it to everyone! I will say the only problem that I had w/ the movie was the look of some of the characters. Jasper, Rosalie & Carlisle's wigs weren't the greatest. However, other than that I loved it!

I went to the midnight showing with my daughter and nieces. Despite it being so late, I really enjoyed the movie. I was able to stay awake - being an "early to bed" kind of person - which was pretty good. The characters and the plot are compelling to watch. Middle parts of stories are famous for leaving one feeling unsatisfied. This was true for this film as well. Overall I enjoyed it.

I thought New Moon was a lot better than Twilight. It followed the book more and didn't add any crazy things like the first movie did with the whole Bad Vampires killing the people in Forks. The movie did leave a few things out but that to be expected the can't fit all 25 chapters in to a 2 hour movie! But with all that said I loved it. Waiting in line since 6:30 last night to see it at Midnight was such a good idea because it was such a good movie! I loved New Moon! (going to see again for sure)

I like the movie but definitely liked the book better. I thought it was good movie and would definitely go and see it again and again. The first movie was better because after reading the book there was a lot of things left out in the movie when Alice and Bella leave to go and stop Edward. But over all I give this movie 2 thumbs up.

The movie was extremely accurate in accordance to the book. With disappointment in accuracy stemming from Twilight, this was a definite improvement.
The actors did an amazing job bringing the story to life and a lot of credit should go to the new director.
Overall, this move is a must see.

Take into account that I'm a male, and I did enjoy reading the series. That being said, New Moon was my LEAST favorite of the series. As it is in the books, so it is in the movie. Bella was way too whiny and distraught than she should have been. It just gets annoying after the first twenty minutes of the movie. The scenes with the wolf pack and the Volturi were quite amazing. Cinematically, the whole movie was very well done. The digital effects of the boy/wolf transformation was nothing short of stunning. I'm definitely looking forward to the next two installments of the franchise in cinema format. New Moon was the series' weak link and I'm sure it'll survive through it. Breaking Dawn FTW!

It was well worth staying up to go to the midnight showing. The cg was astonishing especially when it came to the wolf pack. I am team Edward but I have to say Jacob was hot with his abs showing. Plan on seeing as much as possible.

Other than some fairly intense almost kissing scenes, I really didn't feel the emotions in the movie. It was like watching a completely scripted robotic performance of the book. The special effects were good and I loved seeing one of my favorite books acted out. I also didn't see any major directing differences between the first and second movie other than in the much more intense action scenes. The person to person interaction still left me wanting more.

I was very worried I would NOT like this movie and I LOVE the books - I am super happy I was wrong!!! The writting, filming, acting and story line were all much much much better than the last movie. I would recomend this to anyone as a must see movie even if they have not read the books. I would love to see them redo the 1st movie and make improvments to up it game to this movies level - I would totally go see it.
