Other than some fairly intense almost kissing scenes, I really didn't feel the emotions in the movie. It was like watching a completely scripted robotic performance of the book. The special effects were good and I loved seeing one of my favorite books acted out. I also didn't see any major directing differences between the first and second movie other than in the much more intense action scenes. The person to person interaction still left me wanting more.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
