It was better than the book?

Take into account that I'm a male, and I did enjoy reading the series. That being said, New Moon was my LEAST favorite of the series. As it is in the books, so it is in the movie. Bella was way too whiny and distraught than she should have been. It just gets annoying after the first twenty minutes of the movie. The scenes with the wolf pack and the Volturi were quite amazing. Cinematically, the whole movie was very well done. The digital effects of the boy/wolf transformation was nothing short of stunning. I'm definitely looking forward to the next two installments of the franchise in cinema format. New Moon was the series' weak link and I'm sure it'll survive through it. Breaking Dawn FTW!
