I have to say this is the best movie i have gone and seen so far.. The graphics were incredible and it kept you on your seat the whole time... By far the best twilight movie yet.. I hope the other are just as good!!

followed the book nicely, the makeup was a bit fake,,everyone acted stiff, hopefully in Eclipse there more relaxed in there character! Team Edward was good,but Team Jacob was best in this film..over all i will see it again,and add the DVD to my collection. cant wait for next movie....

The movie was great!! If you enjoyed the book you'll love the movie. It follows the story line very well. The actors look better, the special effects were great and the cinematography was outstanding!! A must see for Twilight fans young and old.

I enjoyed this movie even better than the first. The books are always more detailed, but I thought it followed it quite well. It's great entertainment for everyone, even us middle aged women with no teenagers in tow. One reviewer wrote that we need to "get a life". Well, my life is just fine, thank you. : ) We LOVED the books and the movies so far and can't wait for the third and fourth!

I don't fit in the normal group of people who would go to this movie, but my wife and I read the series and liked it so off we've gone to the movies. No, this isn't going to replace the classics that we've seen but it is an ok movie. It does follow the books which bodes well for the next 2 movies. I think the acting is good, better in this one than in Twilight. Taylor Lautner is very good as Jacob and you can see the grudging respect that will grow between Jacob and Edward beginning near the end of New Moon. The scenes with the Volturi set the stage for the finale in Breaking Dawn. You can see this one now or wait until it is re-released just before Breaking Dawn comes out.

This movie followed the book much better, in fact going to re-read the book to see what was missed! I would rate this movie a good watch for any age, we will purchase the DVD to watch at home....first showing, the crowd was a little distracting to the only Jacob shirt coming off and Edward walking out of the temple without his shirt; plus in the action scenes with the wolfs and the Volturi, they seemed blurred in some parts and I know they were suppose to be moving fast but it was like some 'bad shots'.Ending of "New Moon" leaves you disapointed but wanting MORE, there will be GREAT anticipation for "Eclipse" coming in June, it won't be here fast enough, just hope the directors can stay to the same theme and follow the book as well

So like many others, I have been waiting to see New Moon for the last year. I've read and re-read the novels several times and it just made me want to see it even more. Anyhow...so I had the pleasure of watching it opening night and I absolutely loved it...my husband (who despised the twilight movie) went with me and even said he liked it much more than the first...A great movie and now I can't wait for Eclipse. :o)

I thought the movie was very good. It followed the storyline fairly well. I think the volturi part was a bit overdone, such as the fight scene. The most popular part of the movie in our theatre was seeing Jacob shirtless. It was a nice benefit, but it wasn't the reason I went to the movie. As far as I am concerned, I loved it!

I was expecting to be disappointed after reading all of the negative reviews, but I guess it just depends if you are on Team Jacob or Team Edward. I really enjoyed seeing this on the screen and wish Chris Weitz could go back and do Twilight! The wolf animation was amazing! Can't wait for Eclipse!!!

While I enjoyed the movie, the non-reader who saw it with me was confused about some of the plotlines. The look of the movie, the characters and sets were great and evoked the book, but the plotlines left a lot out and may have been confusing to those who did not read the novel. Taylor Lautner and the rest of the wolfpack were terrific. Most of the other characters were underused, such as the wonderful Graham Greene and Billy Burke. Younger moviegoers will love this, but others may wish that the film had been more concise. The movie was enjoyable overall and I look forward to the next installment.

This movie was AWESOME! Far better than I had expected. The acting has improved, all the characters fit perfectly and I loved the werewolves! Jacob stole my heart in this movie. I'm switching teams. The action was good, there were not cheesy Abercrombie-commercial moments in this movie like in Twilight. Great job, bring on Eclipse!!!!

I really enjoyed this movie, even though the tweenyboppers in the theater sighed, laughed and screamed a little too much. Jakob (Taylor), did an amazing job getting himself into shape for the role and left Edward (Rob), looking mighty pale. I'm looking forward to seeing Eclipse in June.

I loved the first movie so I couldn,'t wait to see New Moon ,I was a little disappointed,I thought the makeup for the Cullan's sucked,they were way to white,the contacts on their eyes,were to obvious.I enjoyed the movie up til it went to Italy,then it all happened extremely fast.I love Jacob he did a wonderful job.I also thought Bella did to much screaming in dreams and seemed like a whiner. I am awaiting the 3rd movie and I hope it closer to the actions of the book. That was my favorite in the series.

You always hear " the book was a lot better than the movie", once again this applies. I was hesitant to the whole vampire thing, but eventually gave in and watch Twilight. After watching Twilight I was hooked and read the series within 2 weeks. I've been waiting for New Moon to come out to see it in theaters (and saw it on opening day, of course), however I was a bit dissapointed and regret spending the $40.00 to get my boyfriend to go with me. New Moon cannot even compare to Twilight, I really hope Eclipse isnt a let down too!
