I thought the movie was just so great, especially the end. I can't wait to see Eclipse.
And for those that commented that women in their 30's who went to see it need to get a life, need to take their own advice! I went with my husband and he liked it. This movie is a love story and not just about the teenagers. Sorry you have no passion in your life.

I can not believe how bad this movie is! I have to agree with the other reviews that Zombie's wife really dominated the movie. We saw way to much of her controlling Michael. It reminds you more of Friday the 13th than Halloween. This movie is more of a cheap rip off of other horror flicks like Friday the 13th, and the ending was just like Psycho. Really bad!! Nothing original here. And I too hate the fact that they continued the whole "White Trash" family thing. Sorry Zombie but you just do not do the franchise any justice!!!!!!!!
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I can't actually say I was disappointed by this movie because I knew what to expect going in. I think they did a pretty decent job on this remake. I actually liked this better than the Halloween remake which did not do the original justice.
