Not Just for Kids

This is a movie that will work for the entire family. Nothing frightening for the really young ones. Enough action to keep those a little older interested. Enough humor that will go over the kid's heads to keep us adults laughing too. And one really great adult line. Those old enough to remember Dwayne Johnson from his WWE days as the rock might have a hard time recognizing his voice.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Let's Skip to Breaking Dawn

I don't fit in the normal group of people who would go to this movie, but my wife and I read the series and liked it so off we've gone to the movies. No, this isn't going to replace the classics that we've seen but it is an ok movie. It does follow the books which bodes well for the next 2 movies. I think the acting is good, better in this one than in Twilight. Taylor Lautner is very good as Jacob and you can see the grudging respect that will grow between Jacob and Edward beginning near the end of New Moon. The scenes with the Volturi set the stage for the finale in Breaking Dawn. You can see this one now or wait until it is re-released just before Breaking Dawn comes out.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
