so much better than the book, the book had so much information in it i had a hard time finishing it. i was wondering how that would play out in the movie. i was pleased on how it was done.

As a person who has read all 4 of the books at least 4 times, I expected to walk out of the movie scrutinizing all of the little details, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It followed the book very closely. No they don't show everything from the book, and yes some parts are a little cheesy (i.e. Face Punch?!), but come on people, when is the movie ever better than the book? It effectively gets the message in the book across and watchers who have not read the books will be prepared for Eclipse next year. While I liked the scenes with the Volturi, I agree with reviewers who felt that portion was a little over done. The wolves looked AMAZING! This Team Edward mom might be making a switch to Team Jacob.

This movie was excellent. It captured every emotion in the book. There was never a dull moment. I'm going to see it again with my husband. (If you don't care for a couple of hundred screaming teenage girls, you may want to wait a couple of weeks before watching it.)

I'm a huge fan of the books. I was very dissapointed with Twilight, but New Moon was not a dissapointment at all!!!! I really enjoyed this movie and have no complaints. I can't wait to see it again (and again, and again).

New Moon packed in more action than Twilight and the actors seemed much more comfortable in their roles than in the first movie. The lighting and coloring was better too. Edward and Bella's scenes together are powerful enough that it makes up for his lack of screen time (almost!). We are supposed to miss him- that's the whole point! Jacob and Bella's scenes are totally believable. I read that Chris Weitz wasn't as attached to this story as Catherine Hardwick was directing the last one, but I found that to be totally false. Got into this whole thing b/c my daughter was reading the books and am glad I did. Totally recommend this movie and can't wait for Eclipse.

After the preview I had seen I wasn't sure what to expect going into the movie. But I was definitely not disappointed. This movie was excellent, it followed the book very well and the characters were very well developed. I think any Twilight fan would be very happy. I'll be buying this movie as soon as it comes out!

This movie was wonderful in oh so many ways. The acting was better, the effects(with the new bigger budget) were impressive, the story captures all the emotions I wanted it to. Simply perfect. Would recommend for females AND males of all ages. A++

Boring. Snooze fest. Like watching paint dry. How in the world this flick got such hype is beyond me. Four of us went and all four walked out about fifteen minutes before it ended. No action, no real special effects, no connections with the characters. Could have been a Lifetime movie of the week. Don't waste your money or your time.

New Moon is better than first Twilight movie and did an excellent job staying true to the book while keeping the story and action moving. The screenwriters pulled much of the dialogue straight from the book so fans could hear their favorite lines, but also added some cute references to pop culture. I was surprised at the humor in this movie, much of which seems to be because we are getting more familiar and comfortable with the characters.
The acting was better, as well. While I'm die hard Team Edward, I have to give Taylor Lautner props - he's got some great acting chops.
Even though New Moon was my least favorite of the books, the movie was great.

Even if you're not a huge fan of the Twilight books, you're still extremely likely to walk out of this movie thinking that your money was WELL spent! The color and special effects were AWESOME, the fight scenes were AMAZING, and of course the romance is completely off the charts!

This movie was much better than I expected. I have read all the books and so I'm a big fan of Stephanie Meyer. I thought the book, New Moon was hard to read in parts and it was like those parts were left out of the movie, but not enough that you wouldn't understand the parts about the wolves. I absolutely can't wait to read Eclipse again and will be anxiously awaiting the movie next year! I have already recommended this movie to friends!!

New Moon was MUCH better than Twilight. After reading all the books & thoroughly enjoying each one, I was disappointed with the acting in Twilight, and prepared for more of the same in New Moon. I was pleasantly suprised at how much better it was this time around. I don't often see movies more than once, but I'm sure I'll catch this with my daughter again soon!

I loved this movie and cannot wait for the third one to come out. I feel that the acting was good, when you look at how the charecters are suppose to be feeling. For example, Bella is a confused, kinda sad, young lady and she shows this in the acting. I would go see it again, will be buying the dvd and will be at the midnight showing of Eclipse.

The begining started slow and the action was missing, I thought this would have more action in it but it seem to be tone down. Let hope the third movies is better than the first two. I would wait for it to come out on Blu-ray or DVD to rent only!

This movie was very entertaining and was well worth paying the premium price to see at the theater. I'm not a big reader but, after watching this sequel last night, I'm on a mad hunt for the books today. I'm not giving it 5 stars for only 1 reason. There is a ridiculous pause before each character responds with another. Really annoying at first but, forgotten more and more as the movie continues. Other than that one discrepancy, this is a VERY GOOD MOVIE!

Fans of the books will love this movie. If you have not read the books however, you may be a little lost. You will not understand the emotions behind the stares. I also feel that the movie did not do a great job of allowing the audience to feel the full impact of the love Edward and Bella share. This left us to rooting for Jacob without even seeing it coming! Finally, Edward and Bella's reunion fell short of it's potential. Edward was too quick to come clean and the anticipation of his requitted love was lost. All in all though fans of the Saga will love it and really that is all that matters!

This movie was awesome. They really stayed true to the books...I have read them all and enjoyed them very much. The special effects were really something, I was nervous that the werewolves were going to look fake and unnatural, but they really did a good job creating the colors and actions of them. Great job Submit Films!!!
