As a person who has read all 4 of the books at least 4 times, I expected to walk out of the movie scrutinizing all of the little details, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It followed the book very closely. No they don't show everything from the book, and yes some parts are a little cheesy (i.e. Face Punch?!), but come on people, when is the movie ever better than the book? It effectively gets the message in the book across and watchers who have not read the books will be prepared for Eclipse next year. While I liked the scenes with the Volturi, I agree with reviewers who felt that portion was a little over done. The wolves looked AMAZING! This Team Edward mom might be making a switch to Team Jacob.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
