There were alot of corny jokes in the movie, although I still enjoyed it. There were alot of parts that differed from the book. I absolutely love Jacob!!! Cant wait for the next one!!!!!!!!

Movies are by nature summaries of the books, in this case, Stephanie Meyer has so much detail and good character development in the books you couldn't cram every last bit into a movie. The first Twilight movie was good entertainment but missed some of the richness of the book. New Moon was excellent. All of the characters gained more depth and reality -- I will definitely want to see it a second time, as well as re-reading the first two books. Wonderful job! I can hardly wait for Three and Four :)

They did a great job with the movie. I liked New Moon better then Twilight. The reson for this is cause New Moon had more of the book in it then Twilight did. There are some places the fliped around in the order from the book, but they mad it work. They also put some stuff in the movie that wasnt in the book. Like the fight sence with the Voltri. Over all the movie was really good. I am defanatly going to watch it again and tell my friends they should see it too. The Book will always be better.

A must for Twilight fans, New Moon was pinpoint accurate on how I imaged it would be.
I was pleasantly surprised with the wittiness of Jacob and Charlie. Buffed-up Jacob was almost too much eye candy for me to handle.
Some parts were a little cheezy, but these scenes actually added some more humor into the film.
Overall, I'm please with how the movie played out. Although I would recommend it more to those you have read the books, then to the general move-goer.

This movie has surpassed the first segment of the twilight saga; I see the book was followed more closely. It was filled with romance and action. Edward and Bella have so much chemistry together. Jacob looked great! I loved the movie and am looking forward to see Eclipse soon. The acting and special effects were great. The werewolves looked beautiful. I have read all 4 books of the Twilight Saga. I intend to go see this movie again!

The movie was fantastic. I took my daughter and son to see it on opening day...had to be this day...12:45 pm showing. The theater was packed. The audience cheered when Jacob took his shirt off, but the best part for me was the Volturi scene, nice action mixed with true love and the ultimate sacrifice. LOVED IT!!!! Can't wait for the Blue-Ray.

Chris Weitz did an awsome job depicting the book to the screen. The special effects were great too! Totally cannot wait for Eclipse, I can only hope that David Slade does as good of a job as Chris did. Great job Summit!

the movie was great, I never read any of the books but I saw Twilight and New Moon. New Moon kept my eyes glued. You could really feel Bella's hurt. This movie is so romatically wonderful.

I thought this movie was much better than the first. Bella was stronger and more determined, Jacob was perfect (acting as well as body)- The directing and editing never let the story get bogged down. I loved it.

This movie was very well done. Just like the books, there was so much LONGING you could have boxed it up and sold it on Ebay. I'm hopeful that young girls don't take this as real life romance, but for a fantasy it is great because it draws you in until you are breathing with the characters and forgetting where you "really" are.
I found many scenes to not be as scary as when I read them in the books, but still probably too intense for those under 8, I would think. The movie is very visually appealing with beautiful scenery (and I'm not just talking about the wolf pack) ;)
Was refreshing to see a movie where the girls were all clothed and the GUYS were showing more skin!

The movie was great! Better than expected. I do not read the books before seeing the movies, so I can't wait to finally get into the book. I did miss Catherine Hardwicke directing, but Chris Weitz. as well as ALL of the other actors, did a great job. Can't wait for eclipse and breaking dawn to hit the big screen as well!!

For the good. Entertaining story line with returning characters. Action scenes are very good, twists and turns are good and fine acting.
For the not so good. As with Twilight, to me the movie is a little slow paced and there are not enough action scenes. Also, should have had some closure with Veronica. And... it was annoying to hear 30-40 15 year old girls in the theater giggle and scream every time Jacob took his shirt off. Give me a break.

I loved the book and the movie was amazing! Even if you have not read any of the books, New Moon is thoroughly entertaining and romantically enticing. Jacob is all grown up and does not like to wear a shirt. I haven't heard any complaints about that :)

I definitely liked this one in the pivotal points where they stuck to the book more than the first movie and i did like the effects in this one :) I so liked the added reasons for the background to the heartattack gave it plausability(if that is even a word lol). Great movie and a must buy when it comes out on DVD.Now to wait til the Next movie comes out. :) Hurry up JUNE ;lol

They should have stayed with the first director. The vampires didn't look as good as they did in the first one. The movie seemed long and yet didn't go anywhere. I read all the books and I know things change but the first movie at least stayed on track. This one they seemed to leave a lot out.

On the downside, there were some trite one-liners and I got tired of seeing Edward standing in the distance, looking away in the same pose repeatedly, but other than those hiccups, I had a great time seeing it. You definitely have to see the first Twilight to understand this one, and the population most likely to really connect with this movie is the female teen population. My husband thought the movie was stupid, but I enjoyed the battle scenes and the key player's internal conflict between her two loves. Good effects, interesting spin on the rules of werewolves and of vampires. Glad I saw it, I would recommend it.
