First of all, let me say, I really enjoyed the movie...having said that, my review...
Scenes that could have gone on to their conclusion didn't....left me feeling like alot of footage must have gotten edited...
having said that, Stephanie and Melissa (author and screenwriter) know the material and made the choices...
A 2 hour and 10 minute version of the book was more than adequate, but for me, it made me want to read the book again to remember how it made me feel originally.
The cast is unbelievably brillant and talented and the city of Volterra was exactly as I pictured it and was so beautiful, I could have cried....

My sister and I actually dragged our husbands to go see this movie, and my brother-in-law is a big bad marine and he was caught laughing, my husband was impressed and started to ask me what would happen in the next one lol, can't wait til june now, they did an exellent job!

The movie was breathtaking and the actors and action made you sit and the edge of your seat through the entire movie. My 12 year old daughter has read all the books already. She said that for New Moon the book and the Movie are comparable. With Twilight she thought that the book was actually better than the Movie, so looks like the stars are stepping up to their fans expectations!

Well I read all 4 books in a week, loved them all but thought New Moon was Boring.....I could watch Twilight over and Over and I have.......but new Moon to me was boring and lasted too long, then the whole scene where bella and edward are both running in a field sparkling, was just soooo cheesy,the last 10 min was the best!!!! I hope when eclispe comes out on June 30th, there is much more action in it, cause this one almost made me fall asleep. But remember that is just MY opinion, I still love the whole saga.

Having read all four books in the Twilight saga, several times, waiting for Nov 20th to arrive was difficult! While more true to the book, both movies have many good qualities. This movie didn't go into as much detail on its scenes as Twilight did, but New Moon seemed to covered the book more completely. Of course, I'll have to see it 2 or 3 more times to really get the full effect and be able to appreciate it completely!! Can't wait! I asked Santa for the movie soundtrack for Christmas! Ho! Ho! Ho!
A Twilight fan will not be disappointed, nor should anyone else viewing this next chapter in the two young lover's lives.
Life is good ... All is well ... and now we wait for #3...

"During the hurricane and without power, a single candle illuminated book after book, as I read the entire Saga". The first movie, although low budget, brought the pages to life..setting the mood for a thirsty audience. Second, feed the audience better effects building on a solid storyline with a cliffhanger ending... YES, this movie is worth being drawn into it. Engulf yourself into its power. I highly suggest the ride.

I saw the movie twice already and it was great each time I see it. If anyone who read the book would know there is some stuff missing and other stuff added to the movie but I understand you cant fit everything from the book to the movie. It was very close to the book and I cant wait to see it for the 3rd time with my mother and my 4 year old daughter she just cant wait. She is already a Twilight fan. Enjoy this movie!

The film was good. A lot of the coolest scenes were in the trailers but it was even better to see them in context. Non-spoiler gripes...there is a scene of rather intense dailogue in the rain that was obviously voiced over and that was distracting. Also the flash forward scene shared by Aro and Alice looks like a laundry detergent commercial and actually elicited a laugh from the audience that I'm sure wasn't intended. If you like Twilight though, you'll love the movie!

The movie overall was great. Kristen Stewart's acting was way better then twilight. She finally showed the emotion that needed to be there in the scene, but she could have done way better. For Robert Pattinson he did a decent job for the few scenes that he was on. Taylor Lauter was fantastic in the movie but then again the movie was about him. Either way the movie was better then the first.

Don't bother shifting your agenda around and cancelling plans to make it to the movies, stand through long lines, and deal with the raving "team Edward". It's just another movie.
Where Twilight caught my attention and left me wanting more, New Moon really kind of turned me off and left me with an 'uncaring' feeling to whether I see what comes next or not.
We all now that everyone will talk the movie up and say it's all that, but realistically I feel that New Moon fell into that long category of "sequels which never matched up".
I think there was too much time spent in Bella's head. We listened to her thoughts throughout the entire movie, and didn't see enough action.

I love Twilight, yet I was surprisingly underwhelmed with this film. I miss Catherine Hardwicke's style, I suppose. Parts of the movie were quite slow to me, especially in the middle. This doesnt mean that I wont see the movie again, but I dont think New Moon was quite as good as Twlight.

I took my daughter to see this movie. She has been obssessed with the Twilight series since she read all 4 books in THREE WEEKS two years ago. Anything that can get a 12 year to read such massive books in three weeks has got to be checked out. After taking her to see Twilight last year I have to admit, I too, got wrapped up in it. So yes, I would definately recommend seeing this movie~ no matter what your age!!

My husband hated it but I loved it!! It's been a while since I read the New Moon book but from what I could tell it followed close enough. It Deffinately had more emotional development between the characters than in the original Twilight movie which I felt was really lacking. You could tell they got a much bigger budget for filming on this one too! The graphics were good and had some great photography angles. Overall I loved it and will be more than likely buying when it comes out on DVD too:)

i can't write how awesome this movie was. all the guys werre sooooooo hotttt!!!!! most of them were shirtless which was one of the many reasons that i went to see it.
