As someone who has not read the books but has gotten the story from both the first movie and someone who has i can say that this chapter is absolutely invigorating. it accents the story as well as the first while at the same time keeps you on the edge of your seat with suspense and keeps you wanting more.

This movie had great special effects thanks to the new director. There were parts that were slow but if you read the books first you realized why. If you didn't then you might feel that the acting felt forced and tortuously awkward. All of the characters were accurately portrayed with only minor grievances that only an avid fan would find. Overall wonderful movie. Stuck to the book very well (more than the last one).

I was very pleased with how this movie turned out. It was definitely better than the first of the series and was pretty true to the book. Some additional scenes were added in the movie that were not in the book, but I think they were necessary to keep the audience's glued to the screen the entire movie. All of the actors did a phenomenal job. I will be watching this movie again!

I loved the fact that the 2nd movie stayed much closer to the story line of the book. Taylor Lautner did a great job making the transition of playing more of a leading role in New Moon. The acting was excellent. Go team Jacob!

It was everything I thought it'd be and so much more. I think the acting was brought up several notches mostly by Rob and Kristen. Unfortunately I was interrupted quite a bit and couldn't get into the movie like I wanted to but I'm not worried... I plan to see it again!!! hehe
I know it'll be even better the 2nd time around.

Very well done. I was very happy with how close to the book it was. The few things that were different didn't matter too much once you think about why they made it different. The ending really makes you antsy for the next installment. Can't believe I have to wait until next summer . . .

OMG! That is all I could say when I left the theather last nite ! I luved it so much..I was smiling so much, even when I was walking out the theater to the car !! You should definitely see it. My boyfriend like it too because I was telling him everything from the book as I was reading it. Cant wait for the next movie Eclipse next year !

The movie was extremely good! I have a question though...If the Cullen's and other vampires go so crazy when they smell blood how come when Bella has her period they don't smell the blood and freak out and kill her?

The movie was good. For an older viewer some of the parts were a little cheesey but the most important part was that Edward and Bella still had an intense connection on screen. I will continue to watch the series as it comes out as long as that is present in the movie.

I really liked the movie, I thought it was abit busy, tring to put to much into a movie but leaving out alot. My daughter has also read the series 4 times over, she absolutly loves the books and movie(s). She also thought the movie was great but missed half the book. Keep up the great work.

When I saw Twilight I felt shorted. The movie was decent, I own it on DVD, but for fans of the book, there was a hallow feeling at the movies end. New Moon was NOT my favorite book in the series. I was prepared not to like the movie. I expected to be disappointed and went to view the movie expecting that same hallow feeling when I walked away. I was wrong. I was there with my mother and daughter, both whom have read the books as well and we all really really liked it. Surprise! I was not emphatic to the Bella's character when I read the book and I felt for her in the movie. I am pleasantly surprised by my own reaction. And now I have to admit, I can't wait to see Ecplise.

The movie certainly followed the book for the most part and only a couple things struck a chord. The absence of internalization with Bella in the woods - which made the scene in the book so much stronger and the tweak of Jacob's gift from a hand made charm bracelet to a dream catcher - other than those I thought the movie was very well made.

This movie was fantastic! With all the hype, I feared it would be a let down but it turned out to be far from it. I've read all 4 books and the movie did the book justice. It was much better than "Twilight". Can't wait for "Eclipse"!

This movie is very long but action packed. The scenes jumop around a bit causing some confusion to person who has not read the book. Since I went with my daughter who had read the book she filled in the blanks. At times I felt I was just watching the trailers as so many trailers had been released. I actually believe I would go to the theater a second time to see it again as I believe it is one of those movies that make more sense each time you see it. Most definitely one to have in our home collection.

Much better than the first. Taylor Lautner steals the show. Not just because he is buff, but his acting and how he delves into his character. I didn't like some of the script and how some of the scenes just cut off, and I didn't care for Robert's performance as Edward, (sorry, I still really love Robert as Edward!). In his defense, the script didn't help him any. Kristen Stewart didn't deliver the deep, conflicting emotions I thought Bella experienced in the book. Overall though, the movie is great. I was really impressed with the wolf visual effects. Well done! I really loved the movie over all and can't wait to buy it and watch it over and over!

This movie was so greeeat! I loved the first, but New moon sent the first packing. I can't wait until it hit stores shelves, but until then I will go see it at least two more times. This movie was so much better than the first I can't even watch the first movie anymore without wanting to see the second. I'm heading to the book stores to buy the books. The movie was amazing. It had just enough of everything, humor, action and passion. I saw it the first two days it was out and will definitely see it alot more. Great job done following the book including dialog. I wish they would have provided more detail on the wolves as that is what the book is based more for this part of the series. They will play a juge part in all that happens.

The movie follows the book pretty well. Be aware of the shot of Bella in the forest, it can really induce motion sickness.
Would have liked to see more of the Volturi, they were awesome.

I went to this movie expecting the worse. I thought the first movie was so boring I couldn't stand it. Both movies are of course different from the books; but the second movie you noticed it less.
I think they should definitely keep the new director because this movie felt different and I liked it! I was impressed and would even see it again that's how much I liked it. If they keep on the same track as the second movie they will have a lot of happy fans.

New Moon, of the four books, was my least favorite because it really dragged on and on--I was so sick and tired of Bella and her dysthymia. But the movie was great! Whereas the movie, "Twilight," seemed to rush through all of the important stuff, New Moon sped through the painful droaning on and got to the good parts without missing any important details or character development. I had to explain a few things to my hubby, who did not read thebook, but mostly this movie stood on its own and did not require a thorough book reading to drive home the point the way Twilight did. The special effects, cinematography, and soundtrack were all well done. Jacob looked great also!

I could not wait for this movie to come out and it did not disappoint. CW stayed so true to the book, everything was perfect. The actors did an amazing job, the whole flow of the movie was just beautiful. I will be seeing it more than once.
