I went to this movie expecting the worse. I thought the first movie was so boring I couldn't stand it. Both movies are of course different from the books; but the second movie you noticed it less.
I think they should definitely keep the new director because this movie felt different and I liked it! I was impressed and would even see it again that's how much I liked it. If they keep on the same track as the second movie they will have a lot of happy fans.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
