There was a lot of back and forth with this movie. In my opinion, not as good as the first one, but definitely worth the 2 hours to watch it. I'll definitely watch more of these, I love the characters, but it seemed like they couldn't make up their mind about what to put in the movie and what to take out.

This movie was ridiculous, but it probably as more to do with flaws in the book than flaws with the movie itself. The script was TERRIBLE. It was like no one could go fifteen minutes without expressing their love for one another. And she GOT on that man's motorcycle? And when she wanted to go back he just TOOK her back? That makes NO sense.
The best thing about this movie were the special effects - at least as far as the wolves were concerned. They were really cool.
Right after I got out of this movie, I text my friend (we've both read the books, so we're semi-fans) and said "waste of time." She said "I'll wait until it comes out on DVD," and I said "Even that is a waste of money." Because it is.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I think that they did a great Job wih the movie. It follows the book pretty well, It is nice to see that they kept it as close as they could. The new cast in this movie, are so perfect just like I saw them while reading the book. They nailed Janie's part.... OMG they couldn't have picked a better person for it. It was a Wonderful movie. I can't wait until Jun for the next movie!!!!

New Moon is sooooo worth seeing. Totally follows the book (for the most part). My husband, who didn't really want to see the movie, actually walked away LOVING it! It's got something for everyone. The "sidie" characters - Mike, Newton, Jessica, Charlie... were great! The New Moon is ten times better than the Twilight movie. I can't wait for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Go see this movie right away - on the big screen. And read the books!

Saw this movie in a theatre filled with tween and teen girls.. loved their enthusiasm for the film but not their screaming! LOL.. Thought this movie was hundreds of times better than the first.. although obviously not as detailed as the book.. Made me go out and buy the next book in the series! Definitely go see it, even if you're a non-believer... ;)

The characters have most definitely evolved their roles in New Moon, and they did not disappoint. The visual effects were very well done; the wolves especially. The passion between Edward and Bella was portrayed much better in this movie than the first. I feel the key points in the book were hit upon in the movie, and I will be seeing this movie again while still in theaters.

Seen the Movie, Read the Books, Loved Both! The actors are wonderful and the story line stayed with the book. I am counting down days until the next. This movie was good. However, if you did not see the original movie, it would be almost impossible for you to understand the new moon movie. Very cheesy, but what else do you expect from twilight. not as good as the first one. Unless you are twilight obsessed, it's the type of movie you see in theatres, and possibly rent in the video store. nothing too special.

Instead of the Montegues and Capulets we have Vampires and WareWolves. OK, I get it. Not seeing the 1st movie or reading the books (I have read R+J though) I was a little confused to what was going on at first. This movie drags on and listening to teens express their love with promises destined to be broken is almost unbearable to any grown up. Teen girls watch this flick to see guys with their shirts off. Don't let the trailer mislead you, special effects are short lived. However, my girls loved it and I stood in line for an hour to get seated w/o complaining so I am cool in their eyes for a little while longer. If it convinces them to read a little Shakespeare down the road, all the better.

New Moon was a good movie. The acting was much better than in Twilight. Some of the parts that were missing that were in the book would have been helpful for viewers to better understand some parts such as the Volturi scene in Italy, however, anyone who has read the books would be able to understand simply based on what they already know. With the showing of more of the killing of the vampires and the wolf fights this movie was probably better for those boyfriends and fathers who have to take their girlfriends or daughters, respectively. However, the addition of these slightly more violent scenes makes this film less appropriate for children, so parents, please leave the little ones at home.

I am certainly a Jacob fan - and this movie does him proud. It pretty much follows the book but I was hoping to see the part where Bella hears the legends from Harry Clearwater. Well, can't have everything. Jacob was awesome. Excellent actor! Also Aro and teh Volturi were incredibly good. Can't wait to see them again in Eclipse.

I thought "New Moon" was excellent! I was not sure what to expect going in, but I was blown away. It definitely is 10X better than the first movie. The wolves look amazing & Kristen Stewart does a great job!
The most unexpected part for me in the movie was the humor. I was not expecting the funny lines but they were great at breaking up the heavy sadness.
Although this was my least favorite book of the Saga, I was pretty amazed with the movie. It follows the book very closely, leaving out very few things and I loved what they did with the ending!
I can't wait to buy it on DVD and see the special features!
