The Harry Potter Marathon was fantastic Eight movies in 2 days - WOW. I had to do it. We'll never see those movies on the big screen again like this - all in a row. Great idea and great staff at the Menomenee Falls Marcus theater in WI. Thanks for a memorable time.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Although I am a fan of 'Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves,' this was wonderful. You have to set aside your previous assumptions of how Robin Hood was portrayed in previous movies because this plot os WAY different. Russell is in great shape for this movie and looks VERY handsome. The action was exceptional and the views of the English countryside made it an epic to watch. I give it a thumbs up!

Robert is an excellent actor

The story line and interal family conflicts make this an interesting movie and dips beyond teh usual stereotypes. Robert does a wonderful job at portraying the estrranged son. He is turning out to be a wonderful actor. The only thing thta didn't seem right to me was the ending (spoiler alert). The link to 911 was an odd twist that really didn't improve the story at all. Any type of unplanned accident would has sufficed. (Car Crash, bike accident etc.) Overall, I loved it and felt it was the best movie I've seen in a long time.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A Modern Twist

Sherlock is certainly shown as a wilder character than previous renditons. The movie is grimy, brutal and complicated. I loved it! Lots of action and the plot was awesome, and complex, but it kept you on your toes - just as a Sherlock story should. The music was also great.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Wonderful CG

I loved - absolutely LOVED the CG effort. The plot was very good also, but I'd rate that a 4 out of 5 stars. The flying sequences were drop dead georgeous. You could, however, see a 'message' regarding the environment etc. The trees looked like the Amazon or somewhere in Africa. But I suppose you had to have something the audience identified with. The connection the aliens had with the world around them was an excellent idea. All in all, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it gets best picture.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Follows the book

I am certainly a Jacob fan - and this movie does him proud. It pretty much follows the book but I was hoping to see the part where Bella hears the legends from Harry Clearwater. Well, can't have everything. Jacob was awesome. Excellent actor! Also Aro and teh Volturi were incredibly good. Can't wait to see them again in Eclipse.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Alan Rickman is the BEST

Although darker than the other movies and certainly different from the book in many ways, it is a powerful and heart wrenching rendition. Alan Rickman's portrayal of Snape just blows me away. He is exquisite!
