I found this movie disappointing, the movie "Valentino" was much better done. The job done by Anna seems ridiculous and very semplified, while instead the real genius seems to be Grace.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

The people and the industry are interesting, sometimes even fascinating, but the movie is not well put together. It seemed like they didn't have (or Anna wouldn't give them) enough material about her, so they had to use Grace as the star. The Sienna Miller part was just lame. I wished they had explored more about the MONEY involved. Still, loved seeing "backstage" and comparing real life with The Devil Wears Prada.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Release your expectations prior to entering the cinema, no this isn't a film about drama with outright bznitching and catfights.
Its a documentary style piece that offers a quiet look-in at the Vogue NY head-office, where the main players are characters unto themselves.
Surprisingly funny at times and genuinely insightful, I'd highly recommend this film to anyone who has any interest in fashion.

Loved this movie. Grace is the star and is a fascinating, warm, funny woman.
Anna seems very shy, and very witty, Andre is a joke (what does he actually do?)
Virginia and Sally and Meredith are all exactly as I always imagined. Mario is funny! Hated the Art Director guy ( YES MAN with no real opinion......have known too many of those types)
Love the photocopy guy! Models were all amazing..........Sienna Miller just as vapid and BORING as I always thought.
The real question is WHERE WAS STEVEN????????
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Yes, Anna is cold...she HAS to be cold-- she has to be respected and feared in a business that values how you look over any other attribute. As a 34 year old woman it became crystal clear that it takes TIME to make it to the top. Almost every artist showcased was over 40- I learned that you need to work your way up in an industry -- which takes time, talent and a staying power.I was also happy to learn that the bastions of fashion themselves make fun of the ridiculousness of the clothes (Grace comments on one outfit looking like "a trash bag") And last but not least, Andre Leon Talley is just as fun and over the top as I had imagined him. Hes having FUN-dramatic- highly reccomended
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I found Anna to be so alone as a character, hidden in every way she could find. She's a sad woman even with all her power. Andre Leon Tally offers comic relief as a Bafoon. Collasped on a tennis court with his water bottles ensconsed in LV cases. Ridiculous. Grace Coddington is the real artist here, and the most interesting of them all. She's makes incredible haunting photographs. What is also worth noting is that all the artistic makers of this magazine, except Anna, wore black, and seemed to not care about their hair, or look, comfortable in their skins, they did not subscribe to what the sell, and few had any work done, they might have had minor botox, but that's about it. Grace is the one you should all strive to be. She makes art.

Interesting glimpse into the world of Vogue.
The relationship between Anna & Grace is the movies story.
Anna is much more normal than I had imagined - coming across as extremely shy.
Grace is fun and bursting with creative talent.
On the other hand Andre Leon Talley comes across as fake and to be honest a joke - I was very surprised about that.
If your interested in the world of fashion this movie is a must.

Amazing, Fabulous, and necessary to watch if you are in the industry. Love the fact that the director and team managed to place the essential information and factors about the fashion publication side of the industry as seen and carried out byt the most powerful woman in fashion, Anna Wintour. Also executed a detailed account of Anna's relationship with Vogue Creative Director, Grace Coddington. Very similar love/hate story as the one told in the Valentino film. A must see...have already recommended it highly to my co-workers, friends and associates. Will definitely watch it again.

Compelling stuff. Not only does it give you a peek into the fascinating world of fashion, but it finds the humanity in a world that often seems to lack it. I was surprised by how much the movie honestly portrays Anna Wintour and her cultivated persona, but still manages to be sympathetic. She remains an intimidating mystery but there is poignancy in the portrayal. Also poignant is the portrayal of Grace Coddington, Vogue's creative director. The relationship between Wintour and her is a great exploration of the age-old tension between an editor/marketer and an artist; the necessity of this symbiotic relationship comes across clearly. The film boasts both lovely moments and real laughs, and is, in short, well worth your time.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I went into the movie thinking it would be an interesting documentary that provides insight into the world of Anna Wintour. The movie met that expectation and provided a few good laughs. Anna is still an ice queen, but now at least we know she smiles!
