Although I listen to Glenn Beck from time to time on the radio, i didn't know what to expect. Unless you are an emotional stone, you will find yourself wiping away tears. It takes you back to your childhood and reminds you what Christmas is really about. I would recommend this to everyone, especially those that have grown weary of Christmas.

In the words of my 15 year old son "Amazing". The "Christmas Sweater" is an emotional tsunami. This is the finest stage performance I have ever seen. The emotion and sentiment literally radiates from Glenn. His book and stage show WILL go down as a GREAT American Classic. It is so sad that those on the left refuse to even review his book or stage performance. The Christmas Sweater has already become a classic and will grow in significance each and every year. Watch this with ALL of your family next year and every year you spend as a family. You will understand what the real meaning of Christmas is. I hope they make a DVD out of this one...I'd buy it!!! The Christmas Sweater is a love story, an orchestrated musical, a gospel celebration, a gripping monologue, a life-sized slide show, and a tear jerker to boot. Glenn Beck speaks from the heart with wisdom beyond his years. The message of love and forgiveness makes it a classic. This was a one-night engagement but seek this story out, whether by getting the book or by encouraging Glenn to offer it again next year!

I really enjoyed the show. I was truly amazed at how much work Glenn put into this production. He gave his heart, his energy, and his emotions completely to the project. There were many touching moments in the show, and I am really looking forward to reading the book. The music was beautiful, and his acting intense. I didn't know what to expect as I have not read the book. I thought it was going to be about Christmas and that it might be good for the entire family.
My 6 year old boy said it was too sad. My 8 year old girl said it was scary and my 10 year old girl spent half of the movie crying.
The morals and the presentation are excellent however I would think twice about bringing small children with you.

I must confess I have rarely watched Glenn Beck's television program. When a friend invited me to this movie I had no idea what to expect. What an unexpected surprise! Glenn's message about Christmas, the importance of family, and finding meaning in your life was beautifully presented in this 2 hour film. I was really touched by Glenn Beck's "The Christmas Sweater". He did an outstanding job and the story was very moving. It helped me to appreciate my family even more and to remind me that Christmas is not just about the birth of Jesus, but rather the reason why He died. So we could have redemption. With redemption comes forgiveness of ourselves too, which can turn our lives around and help us to love ourselves too. It is when we can love ourselves that we can more easily love others.

We thoroughly enjoyed the encore viewing of Glenn Beck's The Christmas Sweater. I actually think that watching the video as opposed to seeing it in person was perhaps more worthwhile. We could actually see the beads of sweat on Glenn's face and could realize how difficult the performance must have been for him. The message he presented was absolutely inspiring! I would implore Christians everywhere to see this presentation if at all possible. I generally rate movies according to "tissue levels" and this one rated several tissues for me. It's not only inspiring but also emotional at times. We loved it!

This was well worth the time. I talked my wife into coming to this show, she is far from conservative on many issues. She had a better reaction to this show than I had hoped for, she broke into tears at the end. This is not a show about politics; it really is about hope and redemption. Unfortunately there is no other encore presentation to see in the theater.

For the cost of the tickets, I expected a little better production, but Glenn did a good job portraying the characters. Thought it was going to be a play, but it was pretty much a one man show. Disappointed that the orchestral music, singing and sound effects were in mono, no stereo sound in a large surround sound sound theater.

This was a very touching story that Glenn Beck told. I had already read the book before I went to see it. The live performance is so real and better than told in the book. It was so true and it made me think about life and how true everything he said. This is the first time I had to see one of his shows this way. I have seen him in person two other times. This movie cost twice the price of a regular movie, but even so was well worth the price. I went with my husband and two sons ages 21 and 16. We couldn't sing its praises enough on the 1/2 hour ride home! And the kleenex I brought along sure came in handy! Thanks, Glenn. The 16 year old and I never miss your radio show, which unfortunately is only carried for 1 hour per day here in St. Louis.
