I was really touched by Glenn Beck's "The Christmas Sweater". He did an outstanding job and the story was very moving. It helped me to appreciate my family even more and to remind me that Christmas is not just about the birth of Jesus, but rather the reason why He died. So we could have redemption. With redemption comes forgiveness of ourselves too, which can turn our lives around and help us to love ourselves too. It is when we can love ourselves that we can more easily love others.
My husband and I really enjoyed this movie. There were a lot of insights into the minds of the German soldiers and how brain washing and propoganda can turn civil people into callous monsters.
There was no actual showing of violence on camera. Thank goodness.
Four of us went to see this movie after seeing the previews on TV. We all thought it was going to be a comedy. The movie was not a comedy, but the worse part it was not even a good drama either. Yes, Brad Pitt's character was funny, but that was the end of any comedy. The plot was not good and at times the movie was so slow, some of our group nodded off. There were a few disturbing scenes that were supposed to be funny and they were not. Please save your money and time and bypass this one.
My husband and I had the most enjoyable evening watching this highly entertaining, exciting and funny movie!!! We were so pleasantly surprised that we enjoyed it so much.
The 3-D effects just added to the fun and the thrills!
If you are looking for a funny and exciting movie, with nothing offense in it, this is the one to see for adults and children alike.
I do hope they do a sequel on Atlantis, a topic which they alluded to at the end of the movie.
Go see this movie before it leaves the theaters!!! You won't be sorry.
