I read all of Beverly Cleary's books as a kid and was so excited when the movie came out (I think more than my 8 year old) My husband and I took our daughter and her friend and we all loved it. It was a sweet, cute, funny family movie and everyone should see it . It was one of the best movies I've seen in a very long time.

As a huge childhood fan of all of Beverly Cleary's work, I had a definite image of the characters in the Beezus and Ramona story. Ramona was perfect!! She was spot on of how I would have expected Ramona to be! The movie was fantastic -- funny, well acted and stayed true to the original stories! i went with my 20 year old daughter, who also is a big fan of Beverly Cleary. We both agreed that this is a must see movie for anyone who likes Cleary's work, as well as those interested in wholesome entertainment. We did NOT miss seeing body humor, unnecessary sexual innuendo and the like. It was great!

This was a great family movie. The story sweet, funny, sad, loving and so much more. We all enjoyed the movie so much. It is one you can watch over and over. Went to go see this movie alone with my oldest daughter and it was just PERFECT!! We went from laughter, to tears, being sad to being happy. We absolutely LOVED this movie. Cant wait for it to come out on video!!!

Great family movie. Tender story with "real life" subject matters that hit home in today's world. Actors selected for the parts were spot-on...loved the humor, and would recommend this movie time and time again.
