I read all of Beverly Cleary's books as a kid and was so excited when the movie came out (I think more than my 8 year old) My husband and I took our daughter and her friend and we all loved it. It was a sweet, cute, funny family movie and everyone should see it . It was one of the best movies I've seen in a very long time.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
