Overall, the movie was average. The special effects and the acting were above average, but the plot was to unrealistic. The poor plot and the film's need to bring Tony Stark so far down before he eventually redeems himself really took away from the overall quality of the film.

Robert Downey Jr. seems to be at his peek in this movie. It is funny and action packed. I like the fact that the language is not as bad as alot of movies made today. The only thing i was not happy with was, they changed Roddie's Actor. I liked the first Roddie better. All and all I have recomended this movie to every one I know.

I was very entertained by this movie. The critics reviews I saw on Fri and Sat said the movie had to many characters and wasn't any good. I have to disagree I thought the new characters, Black Widow and Nick Fury helped setup the Advengers movie and advanced that plot line. The characters played by Sam Rockwell and Mickey Rourke are the villians in this movie. I thought it all fit together nicely.

This movie was easily as good as the first one. A great balance between action scenes, character development and story building. Scarlett Johansson was fantastic in her role as Black Widow and Don Cheadle did a good job carving his "own" role after Terrence Howard in the first movie. I definitely will see this again in the movie theatre.

I took my twin boys, age 11 to see this movie and they had also seen the original. They got bored during the explanation scenes, but that is par for them. I enjoyed it immensely, although I would have liked to see Terrence Howard come back to play Rhodey. Don Cheadle does a good job, it just took me awhile to warm up to his style versus Terrence's. The movie was action packed and I lived the suspense of the search that Tony goes on through most of the movie. I would definitely recommend it to friends and look forward to the Avengers movie that will eventually make an appearance. For a sequel this was definitely on the mark.

I loved Iron Man 2! As usual, I don't agree with the critics who said it's not as good as the first one. I thought it was very good. The dialogue was funny, the new characters were awesome, and the action was spectacular. I loved Don Cheadle's version of Rhodie. All in all, a good way to spend an enjoyable two hours. Robert Downey, Jr. is just the best!

What a blast! Went with my family.... i enjoyed the entire movie i couldn't wait to see it! My twins (7) were mesmerized as well as the 13 year old teenager too! At one point, our entire group yelled "sweet".... definitely an excellent way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Go see it-well worth it!

This sequel is everything a summer popcorn movie should be: great characters, beautiful actors, laugh-out-loud humor, action that still makes sense, and lots of razzle dazzle that supports the story (rather than replaces the story). Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark is just as funny, sexy, and as likable as in 'Iron Man I.' I love this super-hero franchise because Iron Man's only 'super power' is being rich and smart. The villains are smart and bitter. Sam Rockwell plays a fantastic villain fueled by equal parts old-fashioned greed and pride. This was a great night out and certainly worth the ticket price. I highly recommend.

Among action sequel's this is probably one of the best. Because the first one was so good, I was a little doubtful that Iron Man 2 would measure up. Still don't like the change in actor for Rhodes, but what can you do. Mickey Rouke was an interesting addition, as well as Scarlett Johansson. I'd definitely recommend going to see this.

This movie had a lot of potential but it didn't hold together. There were great actors, but they didn't have much script to work with. There were also too many different storylines and no single story was given adequate attention. There were even some great scenes, but they didn't work together to make a compelling story.

A sequel is always tough--especially when following a blockbuster like Iron Man! HOWEVER, Iron Man II did an excellent job. It was fast moving, quick whitted and was surprising for a sequel because we liked it almost as much as the first! My son and I (he's 12 and I'm 48) enjoyed it equally! Fun movie with lots of action. This mom took her 17 year old son for Mother's Day and both thought it was very entertaining. First 30 mins or so a bit slow but then it picked up with lots of action. Scarlett Johansson stole every scene she was in -- awesome!!

Though certainly punchy, this movie seems like it actually should have been longer. All superhero movie require some suspension of disbelief, but as with others (especially in sequels) when things just don't make sense it takes away from the experience itself. this movie need more time to make so it work and there are too many things that just don't add up here. overall, it is still very good for a summer popcorn 2hr escape. But not as good as the first nor is it as good if the superhero genre isn't your thing.

Knowing that it is hard to do a sequel, this was done pretty good. It is actually 3.5 stars between average and good. Acting by all good and entertaining. Much more action in this one and story somewhat weak. But, seeing as how they took the usual, romantic conflict combined with wronged anger couple with good versus evil and put a new spin to an old song, they did pretty good. Worth a big screen watch!

First I like to state that I loved the first Iron Man so I was excited for the second one to come out. I was NOT disapointed. Robert Downey plays Tony Stark perfectly and the action sequences are really great. Can't wait for the next one to come out!

The movie, "Iron Man 2" is a great, suspenseful movie with lots of special effects. Enjoy the popcorn and drinks while you are in the movie, but it not recommended that you drink anything before coming. This movie is long at 2.2 hours, not including previews and you are not going to want to leave during any part of it. There are at least 4 different story-lines built in to this movie and if you leave at any time you could easily miss a portion of one of them causing you to see it again.
