The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

It's awesome! Very romantic but with lots of exciting action scenes. It sticks to the book pretty closely, so Twi-hards shouldn't be disappointed or disgruntled. There are lots of closeups! Rob fans will drool--Edward is gasp-worthy in this one!
I really enjoyed it, plan to see it at least one or two more times in the theater. The only negative for me: I was disappointed with the soundtrack--no songs stood out for me like on the first two soundtracks, so I don't plan to buy it. Other than that, it's two thumbs up. It's gonna be hard to wait a year and a half for Breaking Dawn.

Iron Man 2

I loved Iron Man 2! As usual, I don't agree with the critics who said it's not as good as the first one. I thought it was very good. The dialogue was funny, the new characters were awesome, and the action was spectacular. I loved Don Cheadle's version of Rhodie. All in all, a good way to spend an enjoyable two hours. Robert Downey, Jr. is just the best!

Everyone should see Remember Me

Unforgettable!! The trailers are somewhat misleading. Although there is a romance in the story, there's much more involved. The movie has a profound message at its core, and the story is one everybody can relate to on some level. All the actors are wonderful in their roles!! Some critics are calling the ending "manipulative," "exploitative," and "ghastly," I don't feel manipulated at all. I feel grateful to the film makers for reminding me of a devastating event that affected so many lives and familites--and why we should cherish every day we have and love with all our hearts. Go see it!

New Moon was terrific! I enjoyed every minute of it. I thought it followed the book very closely, and the movie trailers didn't give me any inkling of how good the movie would be. The whole cast did a great job-- and I'm particularly impressed with Taylor Lautner's acting ability. The breakup scene was heart-wrenching! Kristen & Rob did such a good job of portraying the characters' emotions. Only one complaint: the vampire contact lenses were too much, waaay too conspicuous! Hope they toned down the eyes a little in "Eclipse." Other than that, the movie was great! Don't pay any attention to the bad reviews--if you're a fan of the books, you'll enjoy this move.
