Yes and it did. Movie makers made a wonderful remake with enhancements! of the great A-Team I really enjoyed many years ago. They were the first "Mission Impossible" group and this movie was Awsome in restoring their humor and cunning execution of their missions. Great Job to all involved! You got to see it, then watch the oldies. I'm sure they're on DVD somewhere!

I don't remember the old series so I went to see this movie with no expectations. I was surprised that my teenage daughter wanted to see it so I thought we'd give it a try. It was exciting from the beginning and kept me on the edge of my seat through to the end. The actors were terrific...especially Liam Neeson. Be prepared...it's very loud!

Happy to see a childhood favorite turned in to a great movie. With so many other remakes falling short lately it was good to see one done right. Really enjoyed this movie. Much more comedy than I expected. Would definitely recommend it to others.

I enjoyed the movie a great deal. I had grown up watching the series on TV. My mother approved because no one was ever killed, but justice was served. This is better. I thought the cast was great. I grew up watching The A-Team and was pleasantly surprised with this movie. They made it a prequil to the tv series instead of doing a remake. The series touched on the "crime they were wrongly convicted of" but never gave you a clear picture. I was impressed with the casting as well. While you can never replace the original A-Team this movie was not offensive to one fan of the tv show. Thanks.

I thought the filmmakers did a really good job of paying tribute to the original show, without trying to slavishly copy it. After so many depressing movies (gee, isn't life depressing enough??), it's fun to just go to a rock'em, sock'em movie, cheer the good guys, boo the bad guys, and suspend reality for a while. Fun for those of us old enough to remember the original, lots of action and special effects for the younger crowd. Two thumbs up!

i have never seen the original series so i can give you an unbiased opinion: it was alright. the characters were defined enough were i did not feel anyone strayed from their role at all, however i did feel they made them too narrow. hannibal was mastermindy, BA was bad-assy, face was charmy, and murdoch was crazy. the story was fast paced and events happened a little too quickly however i did find myself wondering how they would get out of the impossible situations they got themselves in.

Though the first half hour was a bit slow, once it took off...BAM! It was non-stop action! I had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was a fan of the original TV show, but I think this movie did a great job of keeping to the characters, whilst leaving the memory of the original in place. After the glut of movie ideas that were pulled out of the 80's, recast, and then stripped of what made them great, this movie did a phenomenal job recasting. They weren't afraid to go all in, whether it be with the use of violence (it is about a rogue military unit, after all) or with keeping Hannibal's signature cigar, they captured the spirit of the characters and reset them for the 21st Century.

The A-Team provides all you should be expecting from this big-screen remake of the popular action TV series.....and maybe a bit more. My only complaint is the oft-times frenetic camera work which is hard to follow and, perhaps, hides some detail that is either there....or not. I remember this TV show from my early 80's childhood. I remember the funny interactions between the characters and great action. And that's what the movie provided too. The casting was perfect and the story was simple enough that you could just pay attention to the laughs and the action. What other movie has people flying a tank?! For person that is completely new to franchise I have to say that I was pleasently surpriced. The movie flew by the plot was fun and smart and I really like all the characters. I would have given it five stars if it wasn't for the lack of chemistry between Biel and Cooper. Overall a great movie, I would recommend the movie to anyone who enjoys a good action flick!

I will say this, the sooner the sequel comes out the better, this movie exceeded my expectations. Liam Neeson as Hannibal Smith would have made the late great George Peppard very proud. I was very impressed with Rampage as B.A. Baracus He did an outstanding job playing the role. As for Bradley Cooper, I was very impressed with his role as Templeton Peck. Jessica Beal as Sosa, Face's old flame, was outstanding in her role. When you see this movie, you'll be just as impressed as I was with the movie, if not more so.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie was awesome! And I say this from the stand-point of a female who isn't into all those dumb stupid male movies. If you have any ounce of haha in you, you will enjoy this movie. I almost fell out of my seat laughing a few times. It's got a lot of action, and yes it's ridiculously unbelievable at times, but it's the A-Team! What did you expect?

Hollywood has screwed up sooo many highly anticipated movies by having bad scripts, poor casting or just not having little to no connection to the original series (Transformers, Charlies Angels, Karate Kid etc etc.)
However, this movie was amazing. The A-Team was funny without being silly and had a great story that was backed up with a lot of action & great connectivity to the original series. I watched the TV series when I was younger and I left this movie feeling good about how the story brought back the excitement of the original. The A-Team was well done & I highly recommend it to anyone that has fond memories of the series & to anyone that loves a great action film with witty humor. Because as you may know we all love it "When a plan comes together"
