I love DeNiro and his bad a*s gangsta roles however, this wasnt quite that. i still love both actors and the movie was good but different from what i expected. I wont give the movie away to those who havent see it but there was a small twist that did surprise me.

While the excitement of having both De Niro and Pacino on the same screen lasted for the 1st five minutes and the base movie premise was pretty good it left me completely stumped. There just seemed to be something missing. There where several moments in the middle of the movie where I just became bored and was looking around at the audience instead of watching the movie. I don't know if the director missed getting the hook out into the audience or if De Niro and Pacino lost their chemistry. The movie could have been better and I don't believe I will buy it when it comes out on DVD.

I went into this expecting more. This is NOT heat 2. Heat (1995) was an excellent movie and worthy of 5 starts. This movie however was boring and lacked substance. It became boring and had me asking...when is it going to be over. In fact, heat should have had the roles reversed. DeNiro is much more believable as a cop than Pacino. It's a good story, but very poorly done in this case. If not for these two guys, this movie would have been straight to DVD. Hollywood needs to start producing quality movies again. Except for The Dark Knight, the last good movies I remember seeing is LOTR.

This movie had a lot of great dialogue and witty zingers. Unfortunately it couldn't make up for the lack of action. It was highly unbelievable to see two pushing 70 stars trying to run around and catch bad guys. The plot was very simple, if not for the great acting of Deniro and Pacino it would have been terrible.

Although the movie was a little slow at times this was still a stunning murder mystery. Pacino and DeNiro electrify the screen with their chemistry. In true murder mystery fashion there is a twist at the end that will leave you wanting to watch it again to see where you missed the clue.

It's hard not to expect great performances from De Niro and Pacino, but these two phoned it in. Unfortunately, they were working with a thin & predictable script. You'll see better writing on any given episode of Law & Order. If you go expecting to be moderately entertained, you will be. As excited as I was to see DeNiro and Pacino together I was extremely disappointed in the lack of action considering these 2 top notch actors' history. I would reccomend seeing it but wait for the DVD! Would have been better if they both played mob/ gangster guys.. That would have turned into a classic!

This is one of those rare movies where I predicted the ending twist at the very begining. So that made the movie drag on for me. But I won't give it away. It wasn't like The Sixth Sense where they fed me clues and still got me in the end. Granted, DeNiro and Pacino were entertaining to watch. But the ending in this film was pretty silly considering these A-list actors. And why'd these guys have to wait until they got so old to team up? This one's no 'Heat' but 50 Cent, John Leguizamo, and Donnie Walberg round out the cast to an otherwise fair movie.

Pacino and De Niro are legends in their own right and the two of them together could sell any movie. That being said, righteous kill was missing something. There was nothing unique about the script and the plot was luke warm at most. Pacino and De Niro gave stunning performances though and that made up for the lack of depth of the movie. It was overall a decent watch.

I did like the movie very much. I must not be as intelligent as others, however, I feel that that Deniro's acting made it totally believeable. Pacino always seems to be one-dimensional with his characters lately. I thought the plot was great. It fit the two of them perfectly.

It probably won't win any awards, but there is enough star power in this movie to make it interesting. You will have to enjoy crime dramas to like this movie. Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro--two crime-drama, action, gangster calssics--at last in the same movie, together throughout? Too good to be true, right? Right. Although both DeNiro and Pacino dominate so far as acting goes, as does even Donnie Wahlberg and the cameo-ish John Leguizamo, their performances aren't enough to save the trite script, monotonous characters, and predictability of a cinematographical disappointment. Even the action is limited to single-shot kills, subtle violence, and abundant profanity--if you could even count the latter, categorically. Regardless, this could only be described as a cop-thriller, and even then it would be stretch.

I didn't even intend on seeing this movie when I went to the theaters. The one I wanted to see was at the wrong time and I landed in this one. Never heard of it before, but it turned out to be very good. Has a great story and keeps you wondering. The only bad part was it seemed like every other word was some cuss word and one mild sex scene that was for about 3 seconds and I still don't see why it was in the movie. It proved absolutely no purpose and didn't connect to the scenes before or after. It was just placed so randomly.

Righteous Kill is not a complicated script. We had it figured out about halfway through the picture. But the greatness of these two actors working together side by side is worth the price of the ticket. There aren't a lot of twist, but the flow of the story is enough to keep you engaged and interested. It wasn't overly bloody, or with extreme sexuality, but with just enough to keep it honest. Go see this one folks, but leave the kids at home with the sitter.

I really enjoyed this movie.. I was excited to see these two icons together again and it was worth it.. The movie was, of course, wonderful. The team of DeNiro and Pacino, I mean, how can you beat that? The plot was mysterious enough to have you trying to figure it all out before it ended. I would recommend anyone over about 16 go to see it, lots of adult situations but there were no gratuitous situations, they were all important to the plot and were seamless. Overall Brilliant!

Perhaps I am the first to review this movie, because others didn't want to waste any more time writing about a film that wasted 2 hours of their lives. The director's accomplishment was making two wonderful actors look awful. This movie was choppy, and the characters were one dimensional. There was no flow to this film at all. The dialogue was very cheesey 'cop talk.' At the end, I was left thinking, 'who cares.' I was so bored, I looked at my watch a few times to see how much time was left during the film. I wouldn't even recommend anyone renting this dud.
