Very cleverly done! I thoroughly enjoyed this movie (I didn't even see the first two). I saw it in 3D, but I agree with some other reviews that it does not have to be seen in that format to be enjoyed.

I thought the move was a worthy addition to the Toy Story series and recommend it for all age groups while my wife---who teaches preschool---thought some of the material was not suitable for the youngest children. She said the theme of rejection was powerful for preschoolers and she objected to the premise that a particular toy (the purple bear) would have a mean disposition.

This was the second time my husband and I saw the movie. We took the 6,4,2 yr old neice and nephews to the 3-D version. They loved it as much as we did. The 2 yr old was tickeled at "Big Baby's" raspberry! Loved that they each had an interest in the movie. As adults we loved the lines and the humor.

This version of Toy Story had brilliant graphics and impressive 3D. But the 3D was surprisingly underutilized to the point that you forgot about it 5 minutes into the movie.

I saw this movie with the family (kids in their 20s) and we loved it. We all liked Toy Story & Toy Story 2 so figured we'd enjoy Toy Story 3, but I must say the story, character interaction, and dialog were truly outstanding. The movie is exciting, but not scary for younger children. We saw the Disney 3D version and the depth effect was smooth, easy to watch, and I think did add to the movie experience. I'd certainly go back to the theater to watch it again, and would take friends.
