Seeing The Dark Knight at the Little Rock IMAX was akin to a religious experience. For the first time I saw and heard a movie, full sized and with undistorted sound, exactly the way the director and his crew would have viewers appreciate it. The IMAX experience is three steps to the right of amazing and makes me wish I lived in Little Rock, instead of El Dorado where everything is at least ten years out of date. Little Rock rocks. Amen.

This was the third time I've seen the 'Dark Knight', and my first ever IMAX movie, and I have to say that I enjoyed it just as much, maybe more in IMAX, as the first time I saw it. I took my son, he loved it. Joker was sinister, thank goodness. I didn't mind the Batman voice, sounded sort of like Archy Bunker. Story line wasn't bad either. I understood that there is a fine line that separates good from evil and felt that the movie did a good job at portraying this. Both sides will lie to get what they want and use any means necessary. The only difference is that one side has compassion for others whereas the other side could care less. Great movie, I highly recommend. Some of the more intense action a kid will not even notice. For example, my son did not know what happened to the disappearing pencil.

My daughter and I made a special trip to see this movie in IMAX- she had previously seen it in a regular theater. The IMAX was an additional 50% over the regular price and 20 minutes further away. That said, both of us agreed that seeing the movie in the IMAX format was definitely worth it. Regarding a review of the other aspects of the movie there is not anything more we can say- a must see.

This movie was spectacular!! It was also my very first IMAX experience. The effects were great, the storyline was great, the acting.... unbelievable. Heath Ledger should recieve an Oscar for his portrayal of "The Joker". It's so sad that he won't be around for the next installment. I would definately see this one again. I can't wait until it's DVD/Blue Ray release so I can watch it in my own theater! GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!

"Dark Knight" is most definitely for adults, given the remarkably gruesome nature of the story line. That said, the combination of scenes filmed in IMAX with those derived from 35mm via IMAX DMR works very well. The transitions between the two sources are clear. The IMAX sequences, as with all true IMAX sources, are spectacular. The plot is a bit derivative. Anyone ever see Dick Tracy? Same plot. In fact, though Heath Ledger does a great job as The Joker, I couldn't help thinking of Al Pacino as "Big Boy" Caprice from Dick Tracy. I would find it odd if someone told me that Ledger didn't model his character on Pacino's. In any case, if you have the option it is definitely best to see the IMAX presentation.

I have to say, I'm not a big batman fan. However, this movie is one of the best I've seen in a while. Heath Ledger was PHENOMENAL!! I've never seen such brilliant acting in quite some time. It wasn't all effects like you see in most action movies lately.

Everything about my experience at Imax on Signal Butte, the people working their and the movie was simply fantastic. The Movie was nice and loud and when explosions went off your chair would shake violantly. People working their were friendly and gave me tips about various things. From the opening scene until the closing credits , this movie is like sitting on a new coaster for the first time . Your senses are maxed out with great scenery, great musical score and a sharp script ..
It was a long movie but thereare no dead spots and nothing that should not be there ..I wish that they actually had a couple more scenes of Heath in the film ..He brought the Joker to the big screen the way it was meant to be done ..

Great plot and story line. Christian Bale was in great form and, as expected, Heath Ledger was superb (even in a dress!). I totally recommend doing the "IMAX Experience". It's like being there (without getting beat-up or blown-up).

I thought this movie was fantastic except for the length. it was a bit too long. i think they could have left the movie at a cliff hanger after the death of Rachel Dawes.
Also, seeing it in IMAX was a great experience, but the sound level in Ann Arbor was about 130 decibels. I thought my ears were going to bleed.

Loved the first batman movie in which you learned of his childhood. This one was less surprising, and darker, more depressing. Was a good action movie; not the best movie i've ever seen. Great acting by the man playing the joker (Ledger) and the man playing batman (Christian Bale), as well as Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine ,Aaron Ekhart and the man playing Lt. Gordon and others.

This was an exceptionally well written action film, that just happened to have batman characters in it. The Joker stole the show no doubt. They showed the jokers evil genius. Everyone in the movie saw him as an insane freak, but we got to see how together he really had it by the end of the movie. 2 main complaints with the movie. 1, the fake "batman" voice needs to be toned down a bit..way over the top guys.. and 2, what is up with casting UGLY girlfriends?? she was almost as bad looking as kirsten dunst. Her aka should be "pig face".

Very overrated. Ledger was good but the Joker makes no sense - he has no power but is beyond superhero at all times and for no other reason than the plot says so. Overall both my girlfriend and I found it long and uncompelling - both of us were waiting for it to end half way in and we LOVE comic book movies. Fantastic movie, although I must agree that Christian Bale has to work on his Batman voice. It sounds as if he contracted tuberculosis or is talking to himself while trying to take a crap. The only other fault was getting rid of Two-Face so quick. Other than that, it exceeded my expectations and was definetely better than the first piece of garbage.

This is going to be the best movie of the year. The acting was excellent and Heath Ledger had the joker role down to a tee.

Never a dull moment so be prepared for 2 ½ hours of wild intense insanity! Story is full of surprises and not much is predictable. It takes the war of good vs. evil to a whole new level.
Heath Leder is awesome and lives his character to the maximum. He is why I went to see the film in the first place and he far exceeded what I expected, just amazing talent.
