this is one of the very best movies i have ever seen....and the Imax makes it that much more incredible. This is an experience as much as it is a movie. Heath Ledger took this role and absolutely nailed it, he should win the oscar, no doubt....and by the way the storyline is very good in this as well, it's not just fast action, i was actually very impressed with all the story there is ....very very good...dont miss it

This was definitely a must see movie. Although dark at times, it really put the story into perspective. It's a shame Heath Ledger isn't around to see what an amazing job he did in his joker role. But then again, maybe he wasn't acting too hard. I do think that it could have been a tad shorter though. Overall, it was excellent

As much as I love most superhero films, and considering that I was already a big Batman fan, I was still completely taken aback by this film. This has got to be, no wait a minute, this IS one of the best movies I have seen in the last 7 or 8 years. I've already seen it twice, both times on IMAX and I fully intend to go see it a third time this coming weekend. And btw, since 6 scenes were shot using an IMAX camera comprising something like 30 some odd minutes of the film, it's the only way to truly see this picture. You won't regret paying the extra two or three dollars. Word of advice, get a seat that is in the center aisle, center row. Also, for those of you who think that you won't enjoy it because it's too long, this film felt a LOT shorter than than the actual running time which is a testament to how taut the script is. And yes, Heath Ledger has completely personified the Joker. I think he'll definitely get an Oscar nomination for Best Actor and so far he's got the best chance of actually winning the award, not because he died, but because he amazes you and scares you at the same time. I haven't felt that afraid of a character on screen since Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs. Absolutely gorgeous. Oh and one more thing. Watch this movie before you take a young child to see it. When you see the film, you'll find out why. Hope this helps.

I was not as impressed with the Hooksett Imax as I would have wanted. I was expecting the half-dome like the one at the Museum of Science. However it was still really great. The movie itself was fabulous. Very well made, great effects, and Heath Ledger as the Joker was the perfect blend of creepy, scary, and comedy. Its sad and unfortunate we won't be able to see him do other projects, and grow from this role. This movie was great, great, great. Would absolutely go see it again, Imax or not.

This is one of the most incredible movies I've seen. The acting was great, especially Heath Ledger as the Joker. His performance gives you the chills, but it is exciting whenever he shows up in a scene. Seeing this movie in IMAX is unforgettable because you feel like you are truly there in some parts of the movie. Nolan's direction is just so perfect for this dark comic book character. Lastly, I must mention the music. There is no doubt that the work that Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard have done is oscar-worthy, but as a team they have created music that is more than just background music; it is a character in and of itself. It is in no way "camp-y," but rather it captures the essence of the characters in this outstanding movie.

Christopher Nolan did a great job on this movie. The acting was top notch and Health Ledger as "The Joker" was incredible. He blew Jack Nicholson's performance out of the water. If you were doubting whether to see this movie or not, go see it. It won't dissappoint.

A great film. Dark and fully entertaining. A great performance by Heath. And Christian Bale-- so hot! Hot with the Batman voice. Hot in the expensive suits. Hot in the Lamourgini. Just hot! This movie was just great! The IMAX experience was wonderful! Heath Ledger plays an awesome joker in this movie. It's a sad thing that he's no longer, as he was an exceptional actor. This whole movie kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. Two and a half hours flew by QUICK!!! Well done.

The IMAX experience was so cool. It felt like i was in the move. Heth did an excellent job, and batman was just as great, but see Batman begins to get the feel for this guy. This is a must see and if possible wait to go to IMAX

This is a very dark movie. I really like datk movies. This one is fantastic. Though it's 21/2 hours long it doesn't feel like it. I was surprised at how many kids were there. I wouldn't take my kid until they were 13. It must be a lot easier to act outrageous when you are wearing heavy makeup. Heath Ledger was excellent, showing up even Jack Nicolson's version of the same character. Very few times is an over the top villan believable. Christian Bale as always was excellent. It's hard to remember a role Chritian Bale didn't inhibit with skill.

This is the best Batman ever. Seeing it on the big IMAX screen was awesome. The only problem I had was the closeups of Maggie Gyllenhal. That was one ugly chick. There were way too many closeups of her bull dog face. They were brilliant casting this movie except for her. She brought no sex appeal to this movie. Heath Ledger was psychotic, he made the movie and Harvey Dent was really good too. Someone needs to give Christian Bale a lozenge for his throat, poor guy could barely talk when he put on the batsuit. Overall, awesome movie. I would recommend this movie to everyone.

Obviously I love the movie, but as far as the seating goes it was horrible. I don't know what genius made the two extra row of seats up front, but they were obviously money hungry! I was not pleased with the seating, and it was very obvious the very front two rows were added in to make more money by shoving as many people in as possible. My neck was straining the entire time, the fast scenes were blurry and I couldn't see a thing because my eyes were straining to catch up. My experience with IMAX has been ruined, and I have no intentions of going back what-so-ever, or even recommending it to any of my friends or family.

Flawless. The performance from every actor, in big and small roles was absoluetley fantastic. But Christopher Nolan steals the show. He wrote produced and directed the film. The reinvention of the franchise and the success of it is due much in part to the brilliance that is Christopher Nolan.

The Dark Knight was a very good movie. Actors and Actresses were well casted for each character. However, due to the amount of hype that the movie created, even after just the first evening showing, I was a bit disappointed. The movie definitely could have been shortened. It was slightly drawn out and the majority of the climax was very easily seen through excessive foreshadowing. Overall, however, The Dark Knight was well written, well casted, and for the first time in a long time, well worth every penny of my 14 dollar ticket.

I went into this movie listening to all of the hype and believing it. I heard everything from better than The Godfather to "greatest movie ever made." If you go into this movie expecting all of that, you will be disappointed. The IMAX doesn't really add anything. Many of the scenes were too dark to appreciate the full screen. With that said, I really enjoyed it. I thought that the Joker was the best bad guy ever.

I really enjoyed this movie. Watching batman when I was a child. When it was on T.V. But now that I'm much older Its even better. But I wonder if there is going to be another, who will play the joker, and who will run wayne enterprises. Now that Morgan Freeman resigned?

Great Movie.. First time at an IMAX theater. If your sitting anywhere in the first 4 rows (A-D) - YOU ARE WAY TO CLOSE and will have trouble looking at the entire screen to see all that is going on in the movie..

Probably the best IMAX film I've ever seen, the joker sold the movie best in my opinion. Ledger's acting never missed a beat, as he stayed completely psychotic from beginning to end. BEing on a 60 foot tall screen, and having the movie take up th entire screen really made it in your face, and that alone made the movie even more intimidating, almost like the joker was getting into my own psyche. Best Movie of 08!

Don't have anything to say that hasn't already been said... definitely the best Batman movie ever made. I highly recommend seeing it at Imax if you can. I do wish they would do something different with Christian Bale's voice when he is in the bat suit ~ it's a bit annoying. It's a crying shame about Ledger. I could easily have watched another two and a half hours of his Joker.

The best one yet ! This movie is awsome and is even better on the IMAX screen. Heath Ledger was the best Joker to date. I will see this one again !

I think it is very rare for a sequel to be better then the first movie, but in this case I would give Batman Begins 4 stars and give Dark Knight 5 stars. It was definitely well scripted, directed and acted. For everyone who likes an action movie with a fantastic story, this is for you. Dark Knight was absolutely worth the week and a half I had to wait to see it and the cost of IMAX tickets.
