I loved this movie. I thought the actors and director did a great job bringing twilight to life. Do not go see this movie for the specail effects or computer graphics. If you do you will most likely be dissapointed. See this movie for what it is a eternal love story between two timeless characters. Like Titanic but with bite.

This movie was #1 on my list of movies to see this year. I was so disappointed!! It was so slow and monotonous that I had trouble staying still in my seat. I can't even use the excuse that the book is always better because this was just a terrible movie. Don't waste your money.

I was only at this movie as an escort for my 14 yr old daughter. She loved it...more like loved Robert Pattinson. As well I was in a theater with 300+ girls with the same opinion.
Definitely NOT your Dad's vampire movie... no blood...no gore...no teeth...no crosses, garlic, or stakes through the heart...no coffins, no changing into a bat. The Sun makes them glow rather than kill them. Jeez! In this universe does silver kill werewolves? (Probably not)
I can see where the whole plot is headed...Underworld meets 90210.

In a theatre with all of these moms with there daughters, I thought to myself, what am I getting myself into by letting my son talk me into seeing this movie with him. That is just fine with me. We had an enjoyable time. I cannot wait until the next movie to come out. Edward and Bella are a great couple. My son now wants me to read the books so him, his girlfriend, and I can have discussions about the movie and the book series. When he finishes reading it again, I told him to let me have the book!!!

I have to admit I read all the books and was so excited about seeing this movie that the wait seemed like forever. However, after seeing it I can honestly say that it was well worth the wait. I don't think they could have done a better job and the cast was awesome. Can't wait to see "New Moon."

I'm sick of hearing people say that this was not the typical VAMPIRE movie - if you had read the book - you would have known what to expect going in to it!!
The movie was AWESOME!! It was nice to see the book come to life!!!

I have read all four books, and was pleased with how closely the movie followed the book. I understand that for the movie audience they had to "kick it up" a little, but the director did an awesome job. The actors were close to how I visualized the characters in the book. The cameo of Stephanie was neat too. My preteen son watched the movie without reading the book and thought it was "awesome". I can't wait for the other movies!

My daughter and I read all 4 of the books and couldn't wait for this movie to come out. The 2 hours went so fast. The movie showed most of the important info from the book. I can't wait to see the second movie!! The ending was great!

I have never read a book and then watched the movie so I was comparing the movie to the book the whole time. Once I tried to not to do that I began to enjoy the movie better. I realized that they can't fit the whole book into 2hrs. Other than that the movie was really good. I will be buying when it comes out on dvd. My 10 year old daughter just loved it and she has never read the book. There was girls in the theater that was actually swooning over Edward. It was cute.

I loved the actors that were chosen with the exception of Jasper. He gave me kind of a creepy feeling rather than calm as his power is supposed to do. I think it enhanced my reading experience by putting my imagination on screen. I will definitely see it again and buy it when it's on BlueRay. The fight seen would be awesome in that. I can't wait for the sequels to be made.

Wow... I truly thought that I was going to be disappointed with this movie considering how phenomenal the books are, but instead I was thrilled. They did such a great job turning this amazing story into an all around entertaining movie that I will no doubt see it again and buy it when it comes out on DVD. (and I am 28 years old! It's not just a movie for tweens...even my Husband liked it)

I read all 4 books of the Twilight series and fell in love with the story and the characters. Because of that, I had high expectations from the film. I'm happy to say that I wasn't disappointed one bit! If anyone had doubts about the casting of Rob Pattinson, trust me-you won't be disappionted. Its one of those movies you can see over and over again, and never get tired of it.

I read the books and became addicted to them. I enjoyed them because I looked beyond the supernatural aspect of it and related to it. The movie was ok, but could've been better. The most charming scenes in the book were sped up in the movie which gave it an "after school special" kind of feel. It seemed that the director and producers tried too hard to get an audience of boys along with girls and ended up making the movie too dramatic. Granted it's teenagers and they get overdramatic anyway but I hope for the next movie, they accept the fact that at it's core, the Twilight series are chick lit and the audience to be expected are mainly women.

The Movie was amazing. The book was more detailed of course but the movie gave you faces to put with your characters as you read. The movie was action packed and just straight up wonderful. Would of liked more detail in it but other than that it was AWESOME!!!!!!! I have and will continue to reccomend this movie to everyone I come across that has not seen it. I also will encourage them to read the series as well.

I think they did an excellent job of bringing the book to life!!! its a lot to live up to but it was great!!! Can't wait for the rest of the movies!!!!!!!! If you didnt like it, see it again without all the teenage girls screaming in it....makes it a lot more enjoyable :)

I took my granddaughter to see the movie and also gave her the book to read. I enjoyed the movie and can't wait for New Moon. Question is, how long between each movie will the next one starts. The ending left so much untold that I'm ready for the next movie. I was disappointed in the actors playing Bella and Edward. They look nothing like they are described in the book. The actor that plays Edward is not handsome at all. Bella's teeth seem to get in the way of her appearance. Dr Cullen & Esme parts weren't quite right either. The only one I think fits their character is Alice, or yes and Jacob. Jacob is truly a heartthrob. Ok no more complaining. I loved the movie and can't wait for New Moon.

I went into this movie having never read the books, not really know the premise of the plot, except it was about a vampire. I really only went to see Robert Pattinson. However, the storyline was amazing, I never got bored, and am already anxiously awaiting the sequel. It was romantic, full of action, even funny at times, as well as gripping. A+ all the way. 5 stars!

I thought the director did a great job on Twilight..I absolutely love the book and was a little doubtful that the movie would do it justice--but it was awesome! Loved it! The actors did such a good job and I love how some comedy was added to the movie..Of course a lot from the book was left out and a lot of the story was changed, but all in all it was excellent..I would pay to see it again and again!
