This movies was awesome, I loved it, but of course the movies are never as good as the books. it had a lot to do with the book but there were some changes. I would still say that everyone needs to see this. my husband even enjoyed it, he was worried going in that it was just going to be some chick flx, but he enjoyed it just as much. so if you haven't seen it yet, go see it but read the book before you do!

We read all of the books before the movie was released. We were concerned that the movie was not going to touch on all of the important family dynamics as explained in the book. After watching the movie, we were so impressed that the movie was exactly what we visualized while reading the book. Absolutely amazing!!! We can't wait until the 2nd movie comes out.

I thought this movie was great i've almost finished the 4th book and the only thing that i didnt like about the movie was it wasnt as discriptive as the book. But twilight is a great movie and has some hilarious parts. I'm going to see it again on Friday! Also, Edward is a total hottie how could you not want to hear his velvoty perfect vocie.....anyways, this is a GREAT movie, i love it and so do all my friend..... i would go see it......NOW!!!

Great movie to compliment a great novel! Fans of the book should be very happy with how true to the novel the movie was. Half the script was verbatim right out of the book. Robert Pattinson was brillant. Can't wait to see New Moon!

I thought this movie was good, however, I thought the book was better. It is hard to outdo a book, but I wish they would've shown how Carlisle became who he was with the history as well as with Alice, Jasper, and Bella in Arizona. Also more in the meadow with the two of them. There was so much in the book to feel the chemistry between Edward and Bella that didn't carry over to the movie, but with that said, I would go see it again with my daughters.

I've also read all four books in less time than really necessary! I enjoyed the movie, Edward is so handsome and lovely. Their emotions were really there and it was nice to see more humor in the movie. The story was off from the book, but that was ok. I wish they had some additional scenes from the book. Overall the movie was great but it looked cheap and they had too many head shots. I really was excited to see his whole body!!! But I guess his face was enough. I do think that if you haven't read the book there would be parts in the movie that you'll be like "What the heck?!" So I recommend doing that before seeing the movie. I can't wait to see it again.

If you have already read at least the first book I would recommend seeing this in theatres. I honestly loved it. Sure there were points that I thought could be changed but it was still so worth seeing. And once seeing the movie I felt that all the characters that were chosen fit the personalities very well.

I saw the movie with unintentional high expectations. The book was awesome, so the movie should be great! RIght? Well, the movie was okay. Bella was bland and lacked spunk. Edward was good. The rest of the cast was great. Sure the movie can't be JUST like the book, I know. But I was truly irked with how the movie portrayed the meadow scene (Chapter 13 of the book). Edward sparked better in my head. I recommend seeing Twilight with your girlfriends, but I'll take my hubby to a different movie. Maybe the next Twilight sequals can be a date night :) And maybe this movie is better the second time.... I'm on round two tonight.

The movie was great, in fact I went back to see it the next day. It doesn't compare to the books, but still was wonderful. Any true Twilight fan would love it, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who hasn't read the book, as many things were left out of the story, which I feel were essential in grasping the concept.

I thought this movie was good, but not as good as the book. I really enjoyed the action, but the drama was too drama. I envisioned Edward to much more confident and charming too all, not just Bella. It also felt a little slow to me and wanted the story line to pick up the pace. I almost wish I would have seen the movie before I read all the books. I still would go, because the story is a great one. I wondered if it will be better the second time around!

I have read all four of the twilight series books and they are remarkable. I watched the "Twilight" move Monday the 25th of Nov. and it was excellent following the plot of the first book very closely.
This movie is definitely on my purchase list when it comes out on DVD. I can't wait for the other movies that will follow this series.
The story is a refreshing change to the old vampire stories of yesterday. I say "Great Job Stephenie Meyer".

I saw Twilight at 12 am Friday! I was excited to see it seeing as I read all 4 books. I was dissapointed at first because some stuff was left out of the movie, expecting it to be coming. But I loved the movie the 2nd time around because I wasn't expecting the little things! It was a great movie! Although I am a true Twilighter and would have loved if they kept every thing the same as the book!!!
Hope they have a bigger budget for the next movie though!

I went into this movie knowing nothing about the story. And I'm so glad I went that route! The movie was amazing. I've already seen it twice! lol The only thing negative? All the teenage hype over the book. haha

Great movie - not as good as the book, but you can't go into it expecting it to be exactly like the book. Rob Pattinson's performance as Edward was great. I would have liked to see more of the Cullen's although the little parts that they had were entertaining. I also really like Billy Burke as Charlie.

I absolutely fell in love with it the moment it came on the screen. I'll admit I was worried about the cast BEFORE I saw it, but the cast ended up being perfect. They all played their parts well and I plan on going to see it again sometime soon.

I have read all 4 Twilight Saga books twice, I just finished Twilight for the 3rd time before watching the movie. I felt the movie was "good" but it lacked a lot of the details needed to really understand the rest of the storyline for future movies. I have plans to see the movie more than once and I'm thrilled with the actors they have choosen to play the characters in the book. These Actors will certainly grow into their roles as the other books are turned into movies. I'm soooo HAPPY to hear that the next book "New Moon" is already in production. I can't wait!!!!

The special effects were hokey, the actors were awkward, and it strayed too far from the book. That being said, the passion between Edward and Bella was palpable so worth just for that reason.

The actors are great. The story is great.Whats not to love?Its an amazing love story thats modern and will capture your heart.They stay very true to the book but since its only about 2 hours you know they could'nt add everything but they do an amazing job with what they are givin.All whats left to say is I can't wait till "New Moon" comes out!

After reading the first chapter of the book, I was instantly addicted..I couldn't wait to finish and being the next in line.. The characters, the story, absolutely beautiful! Then I heard about the movie, and i could not wait to see it!! I was thrilled!! Now I'm excited to July 09 to see New Moon!

I have seen some pretty awesome movies scince my dad is alwas showing us "classics", Twilight however blew m standards.is saw this phenomenon on the 22 and i was speechless. easily thr BEST movie ever it is well worth seeing. even if you didnt read the books but it helps. the books where better but the movie was really really good. i was shockes that the movie had so much of the of the book in it. omly a few scanes where taken out. ****spolier but parents should reed*********
there is a big make-out sceane and a part where a head is hit violently and blood but that is the only gross parts but dont let that discorage you to see Twilight because it trullu is the best movie ever!!!!!!!

ive read all the books in this series, and i didnt think that this movie would live up to the book, Twilight, but then i went to the midnight premiere with my friends and when we got out we were like THAT WAS AMAZING! i absolutley love this movie as much as i love the books, and i think its a great movie to go and see! fantastic! :)

I loved this movie! Saw it three times opening weekend. It’s different than the book, lots of scenes were left out and lots were made up, but the spirit of the story shined through: Edward's confusion about his desire for Bella and his ultimate surrender was spot on, believable and heart wrenching. Bella's character was played by KS as inanely as the literary Bella. KS can act one part - mumbly, sputtering, tongue clicking, eye-rolling, angst ridden teenager. No depth, but there was no depth in the book Bella, either. Charlie was perfect, he stole the show, at least whenever it was just he and Bella on screen. Jacob has to go for the next installments, too little boyish, not tall enough to be the "wolf" Jacob".

Overall Twilight is pretty good. I love how charlie was depicted, it was very funny. It was really close to the book, but some things in the book were cut out, that i thought were important. I really liked how jacob and billy were depicted also. The cullen family was done very well, but didnt show as much of them as i thought there should've been.
