High Expectations

I saw the movie with unintentional high expectations. The book was awesome, so the movie should be great! RIght? Well, the movie was okay. Bella was bland and lacked spunk. Edward was good. The rest of the cast was great. Sure the movie can't be JUST like the book, I know. But I was truly irked with how the movie portrayed the meadow scene (Chapter 13 of the book). Edward sparked better in my head. I recommend seeing Twilight with your girlfriends, but I'll take my hubby to a different movie. Maybe the next Twilight sequals can be a date night :) And maybe this movie is better the second time.... I'm on round two tonight.
