I had my hopes up about this movie...but people were telling me that it was going to be horrible...that Rob Pattinson would not be able to capture "Edward"....Boy were they wrong! This was by far the best movie i have seen in a long time! I will recommend it to everyone i know!

I am also a mom...44 today. I have read all the books. What a great movie....I have seen it 2 times already. It is not exactly like the book, so don't be disappointed by that. It is passionate, funny and just wonderful. LOVE IT!!!!

I've heard many different opinions about this movie like, "it was cheesy" or "it was amazing!" And after seeing it, i definately do not agree with it being cheesy what soever. It was very well played out, with the characters, and the way it fit the book pretty well. Of course they had to cut a few scenes, but what do you expect? They cant fit a 500 page book into a 2 hour movie. But really, all in all, i was very very impressed.

Once you read the books, the movie never is as good, but considering it was a movie, I think they did a really good job. They did make all the scenes kind of different. Unlike in real life, robert Pattinson actually looked really hot.

I enjoyed the books so much. The movie, of course, was a little different as to be expected but the girls and I loved it immensely! We can't wait for the next one. Just go into it without expectations and throw yourself into the mysterious world of the imagination.

ive never read the book or even seen the trailer! my friends draged me out to that movie, i dident even want to go! once i saw i was look "holy frikin god" lol it was amazing but if your into gorr dont go see it you wont like it. if you like a mixture of funny romance and action, oh and vampires of course youll love it!! pluse if you like hot vampire edward will have you like wow!! go see it write now!! even if you dont think you wont like! oh and by the way it not scary at all! =D

I thought this movie was excellent and if you have not read the book it does not necessarily matter because the story line is pretty easy to follow. Over all i though the movie was excellent and i can't wait for the next three to come out. All the actors and actresses did a wonderful job.

Brought my daughter, age 13 with two 12 year old friends, and my son, only 8 years old and they all LOVED it! Okay, I did, too. Thought it stayed very good with the book and we all look forward to all the sequels:)

i am a 28 year old female who loved the twilight book series. i was totally let down with the movie and found it so boring i wanted to get up and walk out. the script was completely lacking and there were many missed opportunities. the actors were well chosen, so if all you want is to watch edward and bella stare at each other the whole time you may like this movie.

You have to read the book first because there are some really crucial parts that were left out of course you would expect that, thats the case with any book to movie thing, but other than that I loved it I would recommend it to any twilight lover and I plan to go see it again.

As a 30-something person, I truly enjoyed this movie. I have read all the books and I am waiting to see the other movies they do with this series. I thought they stayed pretty true to form to the book Twilight. A few things differed and were added but overall it was truly an wonderful experience. I highly recommend this to everyone!

This movie was a HUGE letdown to the books. The love scenes were cheesy. And what was with the fan in Biology lab the first day of class. Yes I know that Edward is suppose to be able to smell Bella, but what's up with the shampoo commercial hair toss and then Edward holding his nose??The entire theater was laughing. If the director meant this too be a comedy vs a romance they succeeded.

I read the series not too long ago and really enjoyed it. Normally, a movie does not stack up when compared to a book, but this was a job well done. The story does differienciate somewhat, however, it was done in such a way that it made for an awesome story. I would recommend reading the book first.

I thought that this movie was wonderful. It strayed slightly from the book, but that is to be expected as they need to attract more than just love struck girls into the theaters. I had reservations about the casting, but was more than surprised with how great each actor fit their part. Overall, I would highly recommend this film.

You get to look at Robert Pattinson for 2 hours!!! How could anyone not like it! I will definitely reccomend that if you haven't read the books yet then do that first because you won't exactly know whats going on. when you read the book you know what they are each thinking at parts of the movie which wouldn't make since to people who haven't read. I'm going to see it again! I LOVED IT!!!!

I LOVE the Twilight series, and honestly I wasn't expecting this to be great. I don't think it ever could have been as good as the books. But luckily, it was still fun to watch and it was good.
A couple things that i didn't like about the movie:
- the setting seemed a bit too real for the actual movie. you know how you can tell a movie is a movie? i didn't totally get that recognition.
- also, there were some parts that were funny, that i don't think were supposed to be funny.
overall, i think this was pretty good. i am glad though that my hopes weren't TOO high cause i might have been dissapointed. but i wasn't! i still definitely recommend seeing it, because i did enjoy it.
GO WATCH IT :]

Well I went into this movie with low expectations. I had hoped that it would be adapted well like the Harry Potter movies. I loved watching this movie but over all it was poorly done if you compare it to other books turned movies like harry potter and lord of the rings. I felt the cinimaphography was poorly executed. The actors were great, and even the special effects were ok. My problem is with the way it was shot on film, it seemed like a lowbudget B movie with great acting, and poor stage makeup. Overall I was pleased when leaving the movie. I would suggest reading the book first otherwise you will not enjoy this movie.

I'm not a fan of the twilight books but because my girlfriend loves the series I decided to take her to see the movie. Honestly I can say my opinion hasn't changed much. The story still seems too feminine for my taste but the movie did have some very sarcastic parts which I enjoyed. Ultimately Jasper was my favorite character in the movie due to his extreme awkwardness around everybody and really menacing stare. Go watch the movie. I'd recommend it to kill time.

It almost seemed like they took quotes from the book and used them randomly throughout the film. Scenes were rearranged, deleted and added (which completely baffles me: if you have to make the story shorter, why would you add things in?) I am not sure that if you had not read the books, any of the story would have made sense at all. The direction was all over the place. Scenes were you were meant to feel for the characters became comic and unrealistic. Carlisle's first entrance looked straight off of General Hospital with the soap opera lighting and score. The acting for the most part was fine, especially the scenes with Edward and Bella alone. They did a great job with such an awkward script.

Did NOT disappoint.!!!!!!!!!...spellbinding action,heart wrenching romance, and a touch of humor. The romance between Bella and Edward was captured perfectly..I felt it just as I did when I read the book!!! The actors were perfect for the characters they portrayed. The special effects captured the supernatural aspects of the book . The movie was definitely another wonderful escape to the land of Edward and Bella.....it leaves you wanting more!!!

Lets start off by saying you have to read the books. If you don't read at least Twilight then you will be lost most of the time. The positives; the Cullens were cast perfectly! Also Jacob and Billy. The scenery was beautiful and poetic. The negatives; Bellas casting, and Kristin didn't capture the essence of Bella, very dry. (important, because the story is told through her). The movie seemed rushed, skipping from one problem to the next suddenly. Important parts of the story were missing. If the casting was better, the screenwriter did a decent job, and the director, this movie would have been a lot better. If you are looking for something deeper, like in the saga, look elsewhere. Read the book again, just to get over the movie.

No questions asked. What a magnificent story, to be able to capture the emotions of most every teenaged girl (along with others, but mostly teenaged girls) in america. I absolutely loved twilight. I am in love with this series. I thought that the movie was absolutely perfect. There were some left out parts and important parts did get cut down quite a bit, but i think that essentially if i would have seen the movie before reading the book, there would not have been much difference in my reactions and feelings for either one. They did an amazing job making the vampires appear strong and perfect and white, and edward's sparkle was like nothing i've ever seen before. Go team edward! Can't wait for the rest of the movies! Thanks summit!

I am a mother of 4 and am 33 years old and I am hooked on the Twilight series! I have read all 4 books and was very excited for the movie. I loved the movie and felt that it followed the book pretty closely. However, I must caution those of you who have not read the book that you might find the movie corny. There were people laughing and giggling at parts of the movie that if they had read the book they would have realized the emotions felt by Bella and Edward and had a true sense of the meaning of the scene. This is a great movie, but to get the most out of the movie, I suggest you read the book! It is worth the time to read the series!
