This movie was awesome!!!!! There was only 2 parts that i didnt like. The first was when edward was climbing the trees and carrying bella up the hill. It just looked to fake for me. The other was during there first kiss. It was like slow motion only 5 times slower. Other than that the movie was amazing and i would go over and over again to watch it!!!!!!!

Twilight was amazing. I'm a huge fan of the books and was worried about how they were going to make this movie, but it exceeded my expectations. There are of course scenes which were cut or added together, but for having to make a 500 page book into a 2 hour movie, they did an amazing job. And the actors were FANTASTIC! Kristen IS Bella and Rob IS Edward.

We all know the book is better than the movie, but I must say I feel in love with all the characters. Overall, it was a good movie. I hated that particular scenes were not put in the movie that I felt necessary and some of the cheesy acting here and there, but overall - loved it.

I enjoyed the performances of the actors chosen. Kristen Stewart managed to convey Bella's ungracefulness with a sweet charm that made her impossible to dislike. Seeing Robert Pattinson as Edward was heartstopping - you could visibly see his struggle with Bella. I wasn't so impressed with the Forks High students. Little too high school play for me.
I will say that I wish they could have built up Bella and Edward's bond more. However, at a running time of just two hours, there's only so much that you can do, while still having to get through the meat of the novel.
All in all, 'Twilight' was an excellent film. All that makes me hesitate to give it five full stars are the things that I have mentioned. I am awaiting 'New Moon' eagerly..

Twilight was a long awaited movie experience after reading all 4 books in 3 weeks. The movie was excellent, no big name actors spoiling the characters we've made and developed in our own minds. The story was true to its words, and I only wish now, that the sequels would come out sooner, so I don't have to ache for their relationship to grow like I did in the books. It's a must-see if you are a true Twilight, Cullen, Jacob, or Bella lover.

In a word Twilight was AMAZING! I loved the book and was a little worried that the movie would not live up to my high expectations. But it did, and that is hugely because of Robert Pattinson. His portrayal of Edward as a vampire stuggling with his internal feelings and his love for Bella was incredible. You could see the torment on his face. I can't imagine this movie with anyone else playing that pivital role. Congrats to him and to everyone involved for creating this fantastic film!

I thought this movie was awesome. I've read all the books. At first I thought this movie would ruin the story, but it exceeded my expectations. Everyone playing the part was PERFECT for the part, especially Rosalie. Only complaint I have is that the guy playing Jacob looks too fake, too hollywood. But they did an awesome job for their parts, even Edward and Bella.

Whenever a movie is based off of a book, most people agree that the book is much more interesting. And I believe that Twilight is no exception. When I read Twilight, I couldn't put it down. The love between Edward and Bella and the anticipation of what was going to happen kept me up until all hours of the night. The movie, for me, didn't capture any of the things that I loved about the book. It felt rushed and didn't build up as much anticipation as the book did. Although I thought it was good, and I would recommend it, I hope that the next movie is of higher budget and they take the time to really capture the story.

OMG Best movie of the year by far. I read all the books in the twilight series and agree some people will not get things in the movie that didn't read the book but it doesnt matter, still a GREAT movie. And if they continue with the series more things will be explained, you do NOT have to read the book to totally enjoy this move!!!!

The movie itself wasnt too bad. however to non book readers they missed out on the chemistry and plotline of their courtship. It had its funny moments. The actors themselves did a good job. Script may need some work to be a complete storyline and possibly a different director.
I wouldnt recommend it for younger kids only due to the horror preview before the movie which was freaky even for me (whose 26).
Sparkle motion did look better in our imaginations tho.

I read the books, anticipated the movie because i thought the character selection was great and had decent hopes. So, awkward teen movies are the thing now. Why does this one *have* to fit the mold? Not only do they have token minoritys, bad jokes that don't even come from the book and characters that just seem overly-zealous but the acting was atrocious. The girl that played bella looked like she had down syndrome the WHOLE movie. I should have taken a tally of the time where she looked dumbfounded. What was this director thinking? I almost walked out on the movie, it was put together so so so bad.

I am an avid fan of the series of books. The movie was as good as they really could do- but the book was so much better at helping you understand the characters and their motivations. Nice bit of humor in the film that worked well. Overall I was pleased though with the effort.

This movie was great. However, if you havn't read the book, you may have a different opinion. I suggest reading the books before seeing this, because the books are far more better than the movie, although the movie was really good, but you kind of need an emotional attachment to the book to truley appreciate the movie. There was some little things that they changed or didn't include in the movie that upset me, but overall, I thought the movie was excellent. I cannot wait until the New Moon movie. Go watch this film if you're a Twilight fan. =]

This movie was really good! I didn't think that all the stunt work would fit in as well as it did but it was really good. I also didn't think that Robert Pattinson would do so good in this movie but I was once again proven wrong. He was phenomanal!

I am 39 yr old and I thought the movie was amazing. I went just to see what the hipe was about and i was impressed with the storyline and the attention it held in me-no time was a good time to go to the restroom in this 2 hour flick! I was wanting more and disappointed when it ended. Edward plays this cool collect person and it was nice to see him give into Bella. It was fun,seroius and full of action! Loved the baseball game! Great actors! i don't think anyone could have played Edward better!

The movie got into the deep feelings i think a little too fast...but overall it fulfilled my wishes of the movie. You can never expect the movie to be as good as the book, just because there is not enough time, but this movie definitely wasn't a waste of time. I also liked the sarcasm at many parts. It helped lighten up the movie a bit. The actors and actresses were great and I am excited for the next movie...

I am 33 and addicted to the Twilight series. I saw Twilight last night and thought it was wonderful! Seeing the book brought to life on the big screen was amazing. However, I thought the film could have easily been longer, in order to allow for more character development. We didn't see as much of the Cullens and Jacob as I would have liked, and it felt as thought the first half of the movie was just sort of "background information". The reviews I had heard about the lack of chemistry between Bella and Edward did seem accurate for the first half of the movie, but I'd say it improved toward the end. I really think that future movies in the series (if they are in the works) will have more chemistry.

I went to the movie worried that it could not live up to the book. I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the story and the cast and thought it was very well done. I took my husband who is a manly man and he said that he really liked it. He thought the humor was good the there was just enough action to make it really exciting.

The book is better, because when you read a book your own imagination can soar.
A few things were different, but they stayed true to Stephenie. I loved seeing her in it.
She had input into the movie and she was satisfied. I support Stephenie. Good job!
I am buying this movie and would recommend it to others.
I agree it was fast moving, but how can you condense a 6 hour reading into a 2 hour movie?
My granddaughter got me "hooked" on this series and I am so happy she did! I have the cd's and love to listen to them while doing work around the house.

I was a lucky fan that was able to view the movie on Tuesday before the midnight screening. I went into the theater only hoping for the best, but my expectations were too high. The beginning of the movie showed hope of it being a great movie, but soon I was saying, "Hey! That's not how it goes!" or "That's not what he said!!" I was torn from the get go so I never really had a chance to "see" the movie. I was analyzing it more than I should have. I'm going to watch it again this Wednesday to give it another shot. This time, I'm going in with an open mind.
