it's nice to see a movie follow the book

I enjoyed the performances of the actors chosen. Kristen Stewart managed to convey Bella's ungracefulness with a sweet charm that made her impossible to dislike. Seeing Robert Pattinson as Edward was heartstopping - you could visibly see his struggle with Bella. I wasn't so impressed with the Forks High students. Little too high school play for me.
I will say that I wish they could have built up Bella and Edward's bond more. However, at a running time of just two hours, there's only so much that you can do, while still having to get through the meat of the novel.
All in all, 'Twilight' was an excellent film. All that makes me hesitate to give it five full stars are the things that I have mentioned. I am awaiting 'New Moon' eagerly..
Yes, I recommend this movie.
