Id rate this fair only.
My husband has an extensive knowledge of the xmen and had to put it aside to watch this movie.He walked away saying it wasnt bad

my knowledge is limited, but I still couldnt get into it. It seemed longer than it was.
The action was repetitive and sparse. And much like previous posters I was shocked at how little the "special team" got for screentime including ryan reynolds.

worse part of the movie was wolverine's "claws" the upgrade that is. the CGI was so horribly transparent and gaudy for them.
and emma frost- um yeah- thats all I gotta say about her cameo
No, I do not recommend this movie.

The movie itself wasnt too bad. however to non book readers they missed out on the chemistry and plotline of their courtship. It had its funny moments. The actors themselves did a good job. Script may need some work to be a complete storyline and possibly a different director.
I wouldnt recommend it for younger kids only due to the horror preview before the movie which was freaky even for me (whose 26).
Sparkle motion did look better in our imaginations tho.
