I was great except some parts were cut and it all went by soo quickly..... but ya best movie ever especially the baseball scene and the scene where Edward took Bella to meet his family... that was great too..... Emmett was hilarious.... and Charlie too when Bella told him bout Edward!!!! Best movie of my life

I am a true Edward and Bella fan. I wasn't sure what to expect with all the hype, i was hoping it wasn't overrated. I was very pleased. The cast was very well put together and the acting was superb. I found myself holding my breath in anticipation for a kiss or a touch. I cannot wait for part 2 of this great series. Maybe then, the budget will be bigger and the movie will be longer!!!!! I definately give this an A+.

Being a huge fan of the books, I, of course, went to the midnight premier. It was an awesome experience being surrounded by tons of die-hard fans..... uuuntil the movie started. The giggling and screaming and swooning was a MAJOR distraction from the movie. It seemed like every time Edward walked or talked or looked brooding... the "gremlins" around me would start yapping.... taking away from some pretty amazing scenes. It left a lot of people feeling let down by the movie because it made scenes that were intense and dramatic seem comical and mockish.

I LOVED it!! The actors were incredible and they played their roles incredibly well. A lot of people say that it was too rushed and too much was changed from the book, but I think that it was the best interpretation of a book on the big screen I've seen to this day. The places and events were altered a little but it all fit really well into the whole thing. I think it doesn't matter if you read the books or not, it's a FANTASTIC movie!
It does also help that Edward Cullen is undeniably and totally sexy! I love him. :D

I agree with some of the other viewers that there were essential details of the book that would have made the characters seem more realistic and dimensional in the movie, but to say I was disappointed wouldn't be accurate at all. I very much enjoyed the comparisons... my only disappointment was that it flew by so quickly! My opinion is that if Twilight was made into a Primetime series, it would TRULY capture a huge audience. It would be wonderful to watch the evolution of our favorite characters... and savor each detail as we have in the book.
I am very much looking forward the the rest of the saga... either on the big screen or in the comfort of my own home!

Wow, what to say about this movie. It was really great. Being an avid reader of this series, I decided to see it once to spot what was different from the book (it was inevitable). Then went again that afternoon & loved it even more. I recommend this movie whether you have read the books or not. I am feeling the need to see it again LOL!!! Go see it, you'll love it.

The movie was very condensed compared to the book, as it had to be. However, I felt like we missed a lot of what Bella and Edward's relationship is in the book. I would still recommend this movie to everyone, I would also advise you read the book first. I am very happy with how far summit went to make the characters look the same as described in the book, especially with little details like hair and eye color.

Overall, I think Twilight fans will enjoy the movie as it stays fairly close to the book. However, I think there was a lot of poor directing throughout the entire film. The movie jumps quickly through every scene with little character development or even enough time to really process what is happening. If you have read the books, you will have a much better understanding and appreciation for the film. Teenage girls will love it, swooning in the theaters. Film enthusiasts may not feel the same.

I AM SO TRIIED OF HEARING ABOUT PEOPLE TALKING NEGATIVE ABOUT THIS MOVIE. IT WAS GOOD. NOT A BLOCK BUSTER, BUT STILL GOOD. I WOULD WATCH IT AGAIN AND AGAIN. I READ ALL THE BOOKS SEVERAL TIME EACH. SO WHAT JUST NEED TO RELIZE NO MOVIE IS GOING TO BE EXACTLY LIKE A BOOK. SO JUST SIT BACK AND ENJOY WHAT WAS GIVEN. I SURE DID, AND SO DID MY HUSBAND. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I CAN GIVE IS NOT ENOUGH OF JAMES IN THE MOVIE. HE IS JUST TO SEXY.

Like many other moms of teen/tween girls I too sheepishly enjoy the Twilight series and couldn't wait for this movie to come out! I was worried that Hollywood would ruin the angst ridden-spooky-like young love story with overt sexuality that dominates this genre of films...What we got was a fun, appropriately edgy, beautifully casted, can't-wait-until-they-make-the-next-one movie!

I thought this was the BEST movie. I was worried that it would not be as good as the book, they never are. I was so wrong. I do think I would reccomend reading the book first I think you will get so much more from the movie. I want to see it again! I can not wait for NEW MOON...

If you read the books and expect a literal translation, you will not be pleased. However, if you watch the movie with an open mind, you will be satisfied. The casting was superb, especially the Edward and Jacob characters. No, this movie will not win oscars, but it will make you want to fall in love with a vampire. Leave your high expectations at the door and your movie experience will be a memorable one.

I really enjoyed the movie. I thought the actors portrayed their parts really well. There was humor throughout and of course romance. They took some parts out, of course so it would fit in 2 hours, but it was still really good. I want to go see it again!

I liked Twilight the movie, but it was deffinately a disappointment from the book. I was expecting so much more. Htye left out a lot of scenes from the book. And there were parts where I was just like wow. that was cheesy.
But, it was still a good movie and I would recommend seeing it to anyone! :)

As a true fan of the Twilight Saga (I have now read them all several times) I was awaiting the release of the movie with baited breath. It stuck to the basics and the premise of the story very well. If someone were to go see Twilight not having read the book they may have been a little lost though. I understand they had to condense the book down into a two hour movie but there were some things left out and others added that almost seemed to detract from the story. Overall I thought the movie was great and I would go see it again; but I feel there were some things that could have been done differently that could have made the story come to life on screen a lot better.

I read the book and thought that the movie was very disappointing. Kristen Stewart did a horrible job portraying Bella and Robert Pattinson was just alright. I think it was more important for them to show the intense connection between Bella and Edward and they didnt do a good job at.
If someone hasnt read the book yet then I would definitely go see it. My best friend thought it was good.

The twilight book has been read countless times by the fans that adore it. The movie however was basically a summarized version of Meyers first book ,there was nothing unexpected and the audience knew exactlly what was going to happen before it happened. As an avid fan of the Twilight book series, I was anxious about how the movie would turn out, even the previews seemed a little dark. I was thrilled by the cinemotography, music and subtleties. The high school students were fresh and fun. Even the unique additions for film serve to further establish the storyline. The relationships and character are introduced in a way that encourages future films where superior action scenes will entertain and delight. Even the sensuality is tasteful, not over the top. I would be comfortable for my children to see this film. This will be a film to enjoy again and again!

I was prepared to be extremely disppointed that a lot of details and scenes would be missing. But, within the first ten minutes, I completely forgot about all of that. Twilight kept me cracking up continulously, whether it was intended or not. Rob's facial expressions killed me. It was just thee funniest thing. Mike Newton and Charlie were also suprisingly gut-busting, way better than in the book. I do have to admit though, the dialogue was HORRID. I couldn't even count how many awkward [but funny] silences there were. I think they could have developed Bella and Edward's relationship more thoroughly. You don't just have three conversations and then fall irrevocably in love with someone. But overall, the movie was awesome.

i thought that this movie was good. it did however go by VERY fast. For example, in the beginning of the movie you were already almost in the middle of the book, and they never OFFICIALLY tell each other that they love one another besides "so the lion fell in love with the lamb." Other than that, i thought it was a good movie.

well, if you didnt read the books you will probably like it. but if you obsessively read twilight and fell in love with edward, you might be disappointed. the movie doesnt develop edward and bella's love properly, and it is kinda awkward throughout the film. Also, they ruined two pivotal scenes: the first kiss and the meadow scene. If anything those should have been done very well. I will probably see it again, but I was somewhat diappointed.
