The chemistry between not only Edward and Bella but of the whole cast was amazing! There were a few things I would have changed to make it more like the book, but overall it was an amazing shorter version of the book.

This movie met just about every expectation I had for it. Having read the books the only thing that let me down was the lack of character development of Jacob and his friendship with Bella. Other than that this movie is well worth seeing over and over and over again

I loved this the movie. I'm sure that after this week-end this low budget movie will have more than doubled it's investment. After reading the reviews of those who say that the special effects were cheesy should keep this in mind. I'm sure that the next movie will meet or exceed those expections.

I thought the movie was a wonderful adaptation of the Twilight book. The cinematography was absolutely beautiful. Everything from the actors to the sets were exactly the way I had pictured them. The few scenes that were added didn't interfere with the overall feel of the movie, I think they were actually a good way to keep the film moving and still hold the integrity of the book. I was on the edge of my seat one minute, laughing the next, and desperately wanting Edward to kiss Bella, all the while knowing it wasn't going to happen. Excellent job to everyone!! I will definately see this one more than once!

I was so impressed with how well the movie follows the book. There are definitly parts that arent in the book but I was so ok with it. I was however very unimpressed with Rob P.s performance. I felt he just didnt nail the character. Edward is calm, confident, and collected and Rob P. looked like he was on the verge of tears most of the time. I am looking forward to how he grows into the character in future movies. And if he ever reads these reviews try not to overact so much.

For what they had to work with, and the time schedule given.. on top of the fact that this was just supposed to be a small sort of independent movie...IT WAS EXCELLENT! The characters fit well as described in the book and the chemistry between Bella and Edward was undeniable. GO SEE THIS MOVIE SO THEY MAKE MORE!!! :)

Overall I think this movie is great for everybody, not just teen girls. Its everything a movie should be, humor, love, drama, action, and some beautiful scenry (and actors!) It stayed true to the book but its Twilight the movie, not Twilight the book. Its GREAT! Go watch it and I promise you, you wont be dissapointed!
P.S. Its even more exciting if you read the book then see the movie!

My teenage daughter, telling me what she thought
says that after reading all the books she LOVED it!!! She also felt that it stuck to the story line, which we both liked. They chose the actors well.
As a parent who loves horror and doesn't like love stories much, I thought it was great to see a teenage movie that isn't filled with nudity, and bad language, it actually had some values, it had a story line!!!! The special effects rocked, I even thought it was romantic ! Edward drove awesome! We can't wait for the next one!

it was siilar to the ovie but not identical. I liked the book a lot better and i recommend not seeing it if you read the book. The movie was more romanticism than the book even got close to. They left out some good parts, and i was just not thrilled of an hour and a half of edward and bella falling in love, it happend faster in the book and there was more action, if stephanie would have put more action than lovey stuff in the movie it would have been better. hopefully eclipse will be less about love and more like the book.

I loved this movie!!!! It was the best movie ever. Im 13 years old, and im on my Twilight Mom's account, and Im a huge Twilight fan. But, I still say the book was better, in the movie they left out some things..but it was so awesome!!! Everyone was screaming when Edward came :) best movie ever!

I had not read the books before the movie but I really enjoyed it. It really kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It is probably one of the best movies about the "unknown". I would go see it again.

Twilight has gone beyond what i was expecting it to be. I went with my best friend (who has never read the books) and we both loved it. she, who was a true hater, staid up last night to finish the first book.
There were a few parts where the acting was mediocre from smaller actors and one scene when Bella's in her room for the first time you can see her microphonecord sticking out of her pants but i found myself laughing and crying at the right parts, and being overjoyed by the final product when the credits rolled around.
i had to explain a few parts to my friend, but overall she got it without ever opening the book. It stuck to Meyer's work brilliantly and i am looking forward to a bigger budgeted New Moon within the next year!

I knew going in that the movie would have to condense much of the material from the book and felt that Hardwicke did an awesome job of capturing all the major events. The casting was very, very good. We enjoyed it so much that we're already planning to see it again as soon as possible.

Overall the movie was okay. I went with my family (most of which had not read the books). They were a little lost as the storyline didn't explain the thoughts/purposes behind the characters personalities and traits. Edward seemed to have weird mood swings and the CGI for some of the running as well as the vampire skin in daylight was beyond lame. Adding another 30mins to the film would have helped. The movie didn't go into enough depth about the love that developed between Edward and Bella. Overall I did enjoy the movie. My fav scenes were the scene playing baseball and fight in the ballet studio. Very well done! Honestly, despite the amount of things the movie got wrong, it is still a really good movie.

When I went to see Twilight I was expecting it to be ok, mediocre even. But Twilight passed all of my low expectations and preceded to shoot them through the roof. Was Twilight the movie as good as it's book counterpart? Of course not, but it held it's own as a movie. Very entertaining, funny even when it wasn't supposed to be, and all in all very well done. Twilight captured the relationship between Edward and Bella quite well, and all of the other Twilight characters fit their book counterparts well. As a die hard Twilight fan I can't wait for the next movie to come out.

OMG! Twilight was ah-may-zing! I loved it, and I would totally recommend it to others, especially those who've read the books, and those who are on the fence about it! It was AWESOME! It could have been longer for my taste, cause then everything wouldn't have seemed so "mushed" together and the story would have been better and a little more like the book. But hey, it was awesome and it followed the book for the most part! If you go see it, keep a look out for Stephenie Meyer! Hint hint! All the Cullens, well at least the guys, are soooooo hot! So is Jacob! Oh my gosh! Amazing! Yeah, so I loved it! You will too! Go see it! Now! Yay Twilight!

The only problem I had was the acting of Edward at a few parts. During the first classroom lab scene Edward looked more awkward like he didn't know what to do with himself than he did a murderous vampire that's contemplating how to kill Bella. All the same though I know that movies are never exactly like the book so overall I thought the movie was amazing and I have even seen it twice already!

I was not expecting much from this movie because there was no way to match it to the book. I have read the series eight times. The movie was very generic and they missed or rearranged some of the most important parts. Where was the intensity between Edward and Bella? Where did the field trip come from? I feel that they could have done so much better with this film. What was up with Jasper he looked ridiculous and they really did not have Alice play as much of a role. If you disagree reread Twilight. I am glad I saw it but WOW what a joke. I hope that they can do a better job with the writing for New Moon. Good thing I have the books because the movie did not do it for me.
