Never as good as the book BUT ...

Overall the movie was okay. I went with my family (most of which had not read the books). They were a little lost as the storyline didn't explain the thoughts/purposes behind the characters personalities and traits. Edward seemed to have weird mood swings and the CGI for some of the running as well as the vampire skin in daylight was beyond lame. Adding another 30mins to the film would have helped. The movie didn't go into enough depth about the love that developed between Edward and Bella. Overall I did enjoy the movie. My fav scenes were the scene playing baseball and fight in the ballet studio. Very well done! Honestly, despite the amount of things the movie got wrong, it is still a really good movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
