I was definitely one to prebuy my tickets for opening night, and I don't regret it. The movie was great--what I was able to hear of it. I will have to see the movie again to give a more accurate review. Between the squeals and screams of the teen female viewers and the whispering conversations of explanation to those who didn't read the books, the flow was a little lost... An enjoyable movie that I can't wait to see again... for the first time.

I went to see the movie because my daughter had read the books. I found it to be interesting and really enjoyed the film. Some of the special effects were great!! It also ended well.

While I didn't find this movie to be as good as the book I was suprisingly pleased with the result. Granted there were scenes in the movie that weren't in the book and vice versa but the overall effect was awesome. I will probably see this again.

I liked it. I dont think Kristen did a very good job. She's too perfect for it. You kinda had to read the book to get things like Why Roslie doesnt like Bella, and the background of Carlisle. Robert was TERIFFIC! i loved him hes such a good actor he made you believe that he was real. All the other characters were good too. Good Choices could have been better choices with Bella.

I have been looking forward to this movie since I heard it was going to be release and I was not dissapointed. The actors did a fantastic job of portraying the depth & emotion of the characters. The move obviously couldn't include all of the information that the book does but I thought it caught the key components. I am waiting with eager anticipation to see if the rest of the series will be made. I would have liked more of Alice's story be shared in the movie, but I still loved the movie overall. Fantastic job done by all that were involved with it.

I am an obsesed twilight fan, and have been waiting to see this movie FOREVER! Finally seeing these characters come to life was absolutely amazing and seeing Stephanie Meyer's book come alive was just awesome! As amazig as the movie was i would NOT recomend the movie for people who have not read the book. In my opinion it was just so amazing because I finally saw the charcters Ive read about nuermous times come to life! So although it may be an amzing movie withought the book to back it up, the book was by far 100 % better!! I cant wait to go see the movie again :)

My Daughters and I went to an afternoon showing of Twilight, here in Massachusetts where we live. We have all read the book series and anticipated, the movie. It was totally worth wating for it was AWESOME! I would recommend it to anyone, even if you have not read Twilight! Looking forward to New Moon!

Saw the movie this afternoon. Love the book, all four of them actually...felt a little let down with the movie. It felt too rushed and choppy. There was not enough of a build up between Bella and Edward, happened way too fast. Could have easily added another 30 min to the movie just so that would be a part of the film because that is the point of the book. The love they have for each other. I did like Rob as Edward, though he might need some work on his facial expressions. Some of them...well, a little laughable. I hope with New Moon, there will be a bigger budget, a new director and screewriter. I think the actors will fall into place. Not bad for a B movie, but so could have been an A.

There was very little on screen chemistry, and the acting was often bad. Nice that it was very true to the book, but it just didn't translate to the screen. Many scenes came across as comedic that shouldn't have, especially Carlos biting Edward.
Lame: Bella stuttering in the hospital and the anticlimatic end to the conversation - ."oh okay".
No transitioning: the bedroom kissing 'took off' strangely, then suddenly Bella was mouthing words like she was explaining math. Also with her laying down out of nowhere in the grass. Everything flowed awkwardly - except the one who was supposed to - Bella.
The prom dance scene was very sweet and the best chemistry overall.
The full body Victoria covering the big screen was not a good ending.

I couldn't believe how much we laughed during the movie. Some parts were corny, however, so true to what Stephanie Myers' vision was for her book. I was so excited to see my new friends come to life on the big screen. I was even excited to see Charlie and the Cullen's houses, which are characters themselves! Fans will not be disappointed and a friend that hadn't read the books, loved it too!

I came late to the Edward Craze. But what a perfect time to do it. I finished all four books about two weeks ago and was primed and ready for the movie release. Although it's taking the place of a certain HP release, but that is another story.
I thought they did the books justice. It was similar enough, but altered in such a way as to make it more interesting too.
The casting lady needs to be kissed repeatedly.
I already want to see this again...and again!

I think the movie was good. It moved fast and if youhaven't read the book it might be a little difficult to follow. All in all I enjoyed....except for the ending. It definitely left you hanging but that leaves the perfect opening for the next movie now doesn't it.

Just saw the movie a second time! Even better! They did a great job bringing the book to life. Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart do an incredible job as Edward and Bella, and they have great chemistry. You will definitely get the most out of the movie if you read the books! i think that this movie is a homerun! I have read all the books several times and love them, to actually see them played out was amazing! Rob Pattinson is so adorably hot! I think he is a perfect Edward. I am already waiting for the next three and Midnight Sun! I think that in can only get better from here! Hooray for Stephenie Meyer!

The movie followed the books plot but it did not give the actual plot enough credit. The same goes for the development of Edward and Bella's relationship. There is no development in the movie.
The acting was iffy. Although, I believe everyone did their parts amazing except for Stewart and Patttison. But I'm not saying that they did poorly. Just that the movie ended up being a comedy to me. Edward's facial expressions were priceless!
So did I hate the movie? No. Do I think it represented the book fairly? No, it felt like a spoof. But did I like it? Yes I think so.

i love twilight i have read all the books and i was excited to see the movie but no i felt like the movie was corny compared to the book. i know movies are ussually not as good as the book and not to expect more but they really killed the book. It was bad. they left out soo much of the book and messed everything up i was about to cry. i hated seeing my favorite book killed. i know some people liked it, maybe if i didnt read the book i would have liked it but they just changed everything. i got mad beacuse the book is a love story they made it sound so corny. i am really mad about it. i suggest reading the book! you would be more satusfied reading it than the movie
