I have been looking forward to this movie since I heard it was going to be release and I was not dissapointed. The actors did a fantastic job of portraying the depth & emotion of the characters. The move obviously couldn't include all of the information that the book does but I thought it caught the key components. I am waiting with eager anticipation to see if the rest of the series will be made. I would have liked more of Alice's story be shared in the movie, but I still loved the movie overall. Fantastic job done by all that were involved with it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
