I tottaly loved it. saw it on friday at 4:30 in the afternoon. right after school got out. Thought is was amazing. only 1 part i did not like. going on tuesday to see it again. i loved. that is all i can say. boo to the middle aged men who did not like it. you wrong. this movie is great. love how they set up New Moon w/ Edward vs. Jacob, and Victoria. really great.

Things that made me cringe. 1 the movie itself felt rushed 2 at times it was cheesy 3 I wish Jasper, Alice and Emmett had more lines 4 I wish the blood typing scene was in the movie not the field trip 5 Emmett's line from the trailer is NOT in the movie 6 They ommitted Jasper's ability 7 Edward should have a black leather couch 8 They made Italian food for Bella b/c her name is Italian? They are suppossed to be extremely intelligent 9 Victoria doesn't come back until the 3rd book, they hint at her being in the 2nd movie 10 some of the filming made me dizzy. But all in all I did REALLY like it. Charlie was better in the movie than in the book, Kristen did a great job as Bella, & I LOVED Edward. I will definitely see it again...and again :)

i really enjoyed the movie! i love reading books and then comparing them to the movie, and i must say that the movie followed the book exceptionally well. they had to make a few exceptions to the movie, but i would consider that unavoidable in order to make the movie make sense to viewers who haven't read the book. one must also take into account how low the budget was and the short time they had to create the movie. i thought it was very well done and i really loved the movie. can't wait for the next!

I liked this movie so much that I am going to try to see it as many times as I can afford. There were some things about it though that I think could have been different if the movie had a bit of a bigger budget. The big reveal scene was all right but the effects could have been better and I don't like that they cut out alot of the Cullen family's dialogue. It was still a very good movie though.

Having read the book I can say I liked the movie pretty well, but for those who have not read it and don't really know what Twilight is about you may be lost viewing this. There is some good acting and some bad, the effects are so-so, but overall, not bad. There is some humor to the movie as well- intentional or not. Rob Pattinson does a great job depicting the inner turmoil of Edward Cullen, however, Kristen Stewart is expressionless and flat throughout the movie. I pictured Bella a little more full of life than she depicted her. Sorry, Jackson Rathbone plays Jasper rather poorly.

This movie was amazing... the casting was incredible. The movie does take some liberty from the book but overall the screenplay is a wonderful adaption. It's like the cliff notes for those who don't want to read the books.

I've read all the books and i loved twilight soooo much!!!! I LOVE the movie they cast did a great job i saw it twice already the first day...and thats not going to be the last. i recommend people read the books and watch the movie im excited for NEW MOOn 5 stars!@!

Long pauses and awkward movements still couldn't make this movie any less of a hit with me. The camera angles sometimes confused me as to what mood they were trying to set. All around, I would definitely recomend this movie to anyone. I do believe those who have read the books will get more out of it though.

I am a huge Twilight fan and was anticipating the movie with baited breath. I understood that movies never seem to do the book justice so I wasn't really expecting something all that great. All I was waiting for was to SEE EDWARD COME TO LIFE ( on the screen). Well what I saw was way more than I anticipated. I thought it was fantastic. . I think it was put together well. The casting was great. EVERYONE fit the part. Edward was by far the BEST casted. Robert Pattinson did an outstanding job! I did notice a good mixture of kids, adults, females, and males (P.S. My husband went with us to see what all the hype was and stated he enjoyed it).

I have never read these book but I figured I would go see the movie because it looked really good. My friend sent me a trailer link via e-mail. I have to say that I thought this movie was really good I enjoyed every minute of it. The ending would have been weird had I not known that is only one of 4 books in the series. My only suggestion is that while this movie is still new if you don't want to listen to a bunch of little girls giggling and whispering go during school hours. But all the same is was a GREAT movie!!!

Though Twilight was produced by a small studio; it was still a great movie. Some are complaining that the movie moved to swiftly, I initially agreed. It's kind of hard to fit an almost 800 page book into a two hour movie and not lose some of the character development and nuances.

AWESOME! I do have to say that it was a little choppy and cheesy at times, but it was still amazingly satisfying. I loved the actors and the acting was fantastic!!!! :D If you've read the book, it's definitely a movie to see. If you haven't, please do!

I was very dissapointed. I've read all the books, this movie makes it hard to understand why the relationships are thier. If you didn't read the books you don"t understand the connection between edward and bella. They had a very strong attraction for each other, and in the books he can't keep his hands off bella. They sleep together every night in the book. There was huge chunks out of the story . I can't believe they ruined twilight .We were all excited all summer and couldn't wait for our chance to see it. And now I wished i'd never watched it in the first place.

I think that in their rush to fit the whole book into two hours they forgot to portray a lot of how Edward and Bella's relationship developed and how close they really became. I wish they would have stuck to the book a little bit more and showed a few more key scenes but overall it served as a good plot summary of the book.

I was a little scared before seeing the movie that it wouldn't meet my expectations. I knew I wanted it to be perfect and I started getting worried that I was expecting too much. It ended up not only meeting them, but exceeding them. It was absolutely perfect. I'll admit, it didn't follow the book EXACTLY as it was written, but who wants to see a movie that they know exactly what was going to happen next? It was a perfect combination of familiarity and surprise. This is a must see. I am a die hard Twilight fan, and I was very pleased.

I could not believe how close the script was to the book! I am a huge Twilight fan, and was apprehensive at first, but I couldn't have been happier with this movie interpretation! Robert Pattinson was an amazing choice for Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart did a fantastic job as Bella Swan. The casting as a whole was incredible, and everything about the movie was just as I had imagined it when reading the book (right down to Alice's wonderful sense of fashion)!

Iam a huge fan of the books and I worked myself up for a while about the movie...I overall thought it was a great movie but i do wish they would have went deeper into edward and Bella's love for each other and kept the corny parts out. I still would recommend this movie I think that they hit the way I invisoned everyone right on the head even down to Bella's old truck!

You will enjoy it. Some of the scenes are cheesy (when he runs with her on his back) but others are done well and with some humor (baseball scene). What amazes me it that if you haven't read the book you are thinking ...man they fall in love fast... The meadow scene could have been so much more. Rob P. really grows on you but sometimes Kristen S. just looks bored. I really like the Cullen family. Go see it so they can make enought money to do New Moon which will be very intense.

Edward is a tortured soul whose deepest instincts tell him to bite you, but somehow, you know he never will. He's over a hundred years old, Edward is gorgeous no matter what the weather's like, but on sunny days, he sort of sparkles.
Anyway this movie is just so awesome.. I recommend it to anyone Twihard fanatic alike or anyone who loves a romance that was never meant to be type of movie.

i thought it was really good it hit everything that i could possibly remember in the book. Usually books that turn into movies don't capture every detail so well but this one was awesome!!!! I walked in 40 degree weather just to watch this movie!! but it was alllll worth it :)

Hard to beat the book . Also, you needed to have read the book in order to understand the movie. Thought the actors that played Edward and Bella got better and more comfortable with their roles as the movie progressed. It was a cute movie!

I am a HUGE fan of the books and i knew that the movie wasnt going to be the same but i thought they would of cared a little more. they left out a lot of important things. i thought all the characters were perfect except edward. i think that rob pattinson didnt do a very good job at edward, second bella and edward dont really talk to each other and then they're in love. i just expected it to be a little deeper like the book. but it was okay. hopfully they get better because the books were just so awsome that i fell in love with them. and i dont want people to see the movie and think the book sucks. so i just hope they get better and not so much out of order. I LOVE EDWARD CULLEN!

As a die-hard fan of the Twlight book series, I've have to say that I really enjoyed the movie a lot. All of the chosen actors were perfect for the roles in which they were cast, and I absolutely loved Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the roles of Edward and Bella. The flow of the movie was a bit choppy and lighning fast. I wish they had added and extra 30 to 45 minutes to the film to slow down the flow rather than speed through each scene. I was disappointed in that the meadow scene was so short. I would recommend this movie to everyone, but also suggest that you read the book first so that the movie will not be confusing.

In my opinion, the movie does not even compare to the book. Edward and Bella's relationship in the movie is NOTHING compared to the devotion they have for eachother in the book. Robert does great as Edward - no complaints there (He's gorgeous!) The actress who plays Bella is OK but not great. The movie goes by really fast and you do not get out as much as you would if you read the books. Edward and Bella seem to be different people than the people who learn about in the Meyer books. Their relationship, in my opinion seems off by a long shot. Average. If you have read the books and love them, this movie is likely to be a disappiontment. If you haven't, it is probably going to be 10x better than that.
