Even though the movie left out some parts of the book, I still loved it. I laughed at some things that other people may have not understood because they haven't read the book. It, in my opinion, was the best movie I have ever seen in my 15 years of life. I waited in line for 1 and 1/2 hours to get into the theatre and people were extactic including me. Then after the movie people were saying things like "OMG! It was the best movie I have ever seen in my life", "I love the movie sooooo much", "The actors and the acting was AMazing" so on and so forth. Personally, I love it and I would like to go see it again. I would also recommend it to everyone. I hope you enjoy it! :p

This was a great movie. I have seen it 4 times and want to go see it again, I wouldn't change anything. The cast was spot on. The screenplay writer and director did an amazing job with the limited resources they had. I am so very happy about the green light for the second book (New Moon). I hope everyone has a chance to see Twilight in the theaters. Something about seeing so much of the Twilight book we all love dearly come to life on the big screen is breathtaking.

I saw this at midnight and enjoyed it. My daughter saw a 2nd time the next day and said she enjoyed it way more the 2nd time becaue she wasn't comparing it to the book as much. I think some of the scenes with Edward were kind of corny but for the most part all of the actors did a good job in theis scripts.
I was extremely disappointed in the meadow scene. This was an important part of the story and they kind of screwed this up in the movie. The could've done a lot more with it if they would left out the stupid tree scenes. That wasn't in the book anyways!
Also, they didn't cover why their eyes change colors and explain their hunting. If you didn't read the book, you would miss oll of this!

I enjoyed the movie greatly. I went in with the idea that the book would always be better. If you are expecting the movie to be just like the book than you will be disappointed. The movie cannot be compared to the book. The actors did a great job in bringing their character to life. I was captivated the entire two hours. Some of the dialogue was cheesy, but I really enjoyed the movie experience there was a nice balance between comedy and action. The writers did an excellent job in condensing the movie without cutting out the major parts of the book. I can't wait for New Moon.

So though the movie was good, it seemed a bit out of order from the book....the characters seemed to be portrayed nicely though...just wish it would have followed the book more....maybe because I read the book first and expected it to be more....my sister saw the movie and loved it but hasn't read the book yet so there were many unanswered questions for her...overall I would recommend the movie though

I thought that the movie was really good! For me personally, the book was way more intense, just because obviously a book can have SO much more detail, and a story like this requires that. But the movie was good, and I think they stuck to the storly line very well, including the added humor which I liked very much. Compared to the book, the story and love between Edward and Bella is a bit rushed, but that tends to happen with books made into movies anyway. Def liked the movie though! Go see it if you havn't, it did end up being alot better than I expected=D

I loved this movie! It was amazing! It did not feel like 2 hours at all. Even though I had read the books before seeing the movie I still could not wait to see what would happen next in the movie! It could have been more romantic (i.e. the relationship between Bella and Edward was more lovey dovey in the books and I love that) but it was still a great movie and I would reccommend it to ANYONE!

I LUV the books, but I went into the movie expecting a film aimed to 14 year old girls and that's what I got.
~*Things I didn't like*~
#1 caked on makeup and bad dye jobs
#2 Character development and narratives replaced with an overload of "action"
!*!*!*WARNING TO PARENTS. There was a HORRIFYING preview before the movie. It was so scary/awful that I had to hide my eyes. The entire theater was mortified and upset at such a graphic preview before a movie targeted at young teens.

Twilight was perfect. Yes, I am one of those teenage girls in love with Edward, but the movie was amazing. I saw it 11/21/08 and 11/22/08. It was very close to the book which I love. Although, I think they could have showed how much Edward loves Bella more. Some of the people that I went with also said that it was rushed, but they did pretty well for getting a rather large book into 2 hours. [:

Twilight was just an awesome movie!! I had high expectations for this movie and they were all met. It was fun, exciting, romantic, and I feel that all the actors portrayed the characters wonderfully. I loved it! I saw it twice and thought they did an excellent job to converting the book into a movie. There were some parts that weren't in the same order as the book or things that didn't happen the same way they did in the book, but I still found it very enjoyable. The chemistry between Kristin and Rob was so genuine and you could see the conflict that Edward felt for Bella. All the actors did an amazing job and I can't wait for them to make the sequal. I would recommend this to anyone who likes romance and some action.

My daughter is a fan of the books, so we went to see the movie together! Now I too am an Edward fan! So much so that we went to see the move two nights in a row and are planning to go again tomorrow! I think when it comes out on video we will want to watch it every night! But until then, I will dream of Edward every night!

This wasn't exactly what i expected from the twilight movie. I read the books, and i know what i wanted in my head, and some parts were met, and others were kinda lackin in my opinion. I understand that the movie couldn't follow the book exactly, bc it would definitely be a 4 hour movie, but some of the scenes just seemed rushed and kinda unaware of the characters abilities in the book. If i wouldn't have read the books though, i would have probably thought the movie was pretty awesome. I still think it is aight, i just hope new moon is better than this one. I'm still goin buy this movie when it comes out on dvd and i def recommend watchin it, cause it is still a good movie!!!

I saw Twilight at the midnight showing and although it was different than I had originally expected I loved the film. The acting was very well done and casting was on point, the direction was refreshingly unique and the screen writing was quirky and memorable. The closeness to the original Twilight story was obvious and I was pleasantly surpirsed by the amount of dialouge that was taken straight out of the book. Of course there were minor flaws but that is a common occurence in all types of movies. Overall I think that while not perfect it captured the essence of the epic love story that is Twilight and I will definatly return to see it again.

As always, the book was better. However, it stayed pretty true to the story. My biggest gripe most times is casting -- characters never look like what I imagine them when reading -- but I thought casting of Bella was perfect, and most of the rest were also very well cast. I was midly distracted at first by the casting of Edward, Carlisle and Charlie, but they grew on me. The story just gets better from here, so can't wait for the next installments.

I was beyond excited to go see Twilight, after reading the series and I was very impressed with the movie! I thought the characters were almost exactly as the book percieves them to be and I loved every minute of it! I plan to go see it again! I have been looking forward to this movie since I heard it was coming out! I love all four books of the Twilight series. I am so excited to see any sequals to this film. The chemistry between Bella and Edward is so intense and the actors that play their rolls were PERFECT. I was so bummed when the movie was over. The 2 hours flew by so fast. I never see movies more than once in the theater, but I already have tickets to see it again! My friends and I had matching shirts made in honor of the next BIG NIGHT!

i came to the movie in high hopes, and they were met. The movie did have its flaws. I felt that the casting for Edward and Bella could have been better. I knew that they were going to have to shorten, combine, and delete some scenes from the book.They did a fair job including as much as they could without changing the plot, but at one point they went too far.I felt they shouldn't have rushed into the meadow scene.This was a significant part in the story, and was a special moment.There is also the good points. I absolutely loved the casting job for the other cullens,especially Alice and Jasper. I loved all the humor added to the story. This overall is one of the best movies i've seen in a long time where it was based of a book.

i just absolutely loved it. i have read all of the books. so what if it isn't exactly like the book. you can't fit an almost 500 page book in a 2 hr movie. all of the characters were exactly as i imagined them to be. i cannot wait for the dvd to come out aswell as new moon. for me it officially topped my former favorite movie dirty dancing. everyone should go see it. anyone who truely appreciates the books will appreciate the movie.

I'm not a screaming fangirl but I went to the movies with them!The audience was so hyped up about the movie that they screamed when it started,when the title came up &when the main characters first appeared(mostly Edward...my ears were ringing).There was lots of laughing(ex. it was FUNNY seeing Edwards reaction when he meets Bella in biology).I loved seeing the movie adaptation!As always, there were differences but it did not totally mess with the plot.Stewart was a phenomenal Bella & I wasn't sure about Pattinson as Edward but he grew on me. The Cullens were cast well too
Overall, I'm not a screaming fangirl BUT this will definitely become one of my favorite movies. I really hope they continue to make the rest of the series

My friend and I went to this movie for her b-day. We both have read this series before we saw this movie and we were a little disappointed. We both were hoping for some key scenes and lines that didn't happen. We both wished that they had stayed truer to the book. Some of our favorite scenes were cut and we both were sad about that. Most of the acting was Perfect for the situations and timings. Most of the people that I saw there were girls and at the most about 10 men and boys. I really think that this movie should have been more guy related. This was a VERY good movie but, I think if the movie was longer that most of us wouldn't come away saying what happened?

The best thing about this movie is the location shots. Beautiful scenery of the Pacific Northwest. The teenaged actors are fun and fun to watch, The actor that plays Edward looks like he's passing a kidney stone most of the time. Yes, he looks like he's in pain. Unless you are a huge fan, I'd wait for DVD.
