If you are an X-Men fan, you'll truly enjoy this movie. Wolverine is at his bloody best and Liev Schreiber is divine as Victor Creed! He is deliciously evil.
It's a great prequel to the X-Men movies and if this is a sign of things to come, I cannot wait for the truth to be revealed about the other X-Men.

I was pleased from the very beginning of the movie, but a little disappointed in the end. I was disappointed that Creed and Logan were depicted as friends, when they have never have been friends and the few times they worked together they both had no memory of hating each other. In the end, I liked how they introduced the ultimate bad guy, but he had powers that he doesn't have in the comics, which basically makes a supporting character from the comics pretty major in the movie.
The Action was good and the background story was very good. The story sticks pretty closely to most major parts of the Wolverine story from the comics.

I was very glad to see the begining of Wolverine's life.A bonus was to find that Sabertooth is his brother.Great special effects.

I am big comic book fan and I thought it was good. I took my son and daughter and some of their friends and everyone loved it. I would and have reccomend it to my friends. All the actors they picked for this movie I think were the best ones for the characters.

The actors are comfortable with the roles they play. Pretty loyal to the source material which counts for something... Not as good as The Dark Knight but better than Iron Man

As a fan of the X-Men from way back I thought this was an awesome movie. I went with 3 others and we all loved it!! Hugh Jackman is perfect as Wolverine and seeing Sabretooth was a bonus! I will see it again and buy the DVD when available.

I can not even begin to express how totally satisfied I am with this movie. There was the perfect amount of action, suspense, drama, and virtually non-existent plotholes. The only things that I didn't like is **SPOILER** Gambit's accent came and went, and certain mutants advertised didn't appear, some of the mutants died earlier than I would have liked, and finally one of the mutants wasn't supposed to be able to do what he did. These were so minor, they didn't register.

This movie was entertaining in both action and storyline. It was void of any annoying characters that were so prominent in the X-men trilogy (rogue, bobby, toad, storm). This was the fault only of the makers of the trilogy and not the creators of the characters (Marvel). This movie also brought out the more serious wolverine that comic book redaers were used to.

Very well played out. I saw this with my husband and with myself not being a big comic book fan, I suprised myself, I really liked it!
Would definately reccommend it to a friend but not for younger viewers due to violence.

If you are a fan of this series of movies, you may have some issues with the cast changes that take place...
The role of Beast has changed as well as the role of Striker.
That aside, the movie is well made and contains a good balance of action and suspense.
The commercials and trailers for this movie make you question who will be in this movie from a new super heros point of view.
The one thing that I wish they had done more with was the other, new, mutants. We see some of the old standards appear, which gives an idea of what happened before X-Men, but none of the characters are developed, which left me wanting more.

FTW! People gave this movie a 4 out of 5 stars. What a bunch of liars. This movie deserved not only a 5 out of 5 stars, but it exceeded my expectations. After being disenchanted with Watchmen, I tried not to get too excited about Wolverine because I did not want to be disappointed. I was not disappointed. ^_^
The special effects were awesome, the plot was beautifully done, and the cast made the movie even more enjoyable. Oh and as a amateur poker player, it was awesome to see Daniel Negreanu for a short period. Totally awesome.
I would recommend this movie to just about anybody!

This movie was great plenty of action with a great storyline even though I never was a comic book action hero reader - catchin up with the movies though, this one was a great movie as a standalone story or part of the Xmen collection. Just enough Love story to please the women and keep the story flowing, but not overdone, fight scenes were great not to over the top, still superheroes though, not to gory or disgusting, high praise to Hugh Jackman for premeiring in Tempe, AZ!!

This movie gives the details surrounding Wolverine's backstory. I felt like the pacing was great, the action well done and overall a good story.
Stay past the credits, there are two different scenes that they show at the end depending on what theater you see it in.

I am always hesitant when going to see "summer action movies", and even moreso with "comic book movies". However, I was very plesantly surprised by this particular film.
I thought the acting was nothing shy of remarkable. Not only did Hugh Jackman do an amazing job going through the enormous emotional and physical demands of Wolverine, but Liev Schreiber was an amazing Sabertooth!
The story was well done. There were a few moments where I wish there had been a little more time given to us as an audience to savor, but overal it was amazing.
Go see it in the theater!

Over all, this was a well put together movie; cinematography was excellent, graphics were tight, casting was on point and the story was off the hook! Wolverine and Sabertooth being brothers? I was able to swallow it but it bothered me alil. No bootleg necessary, go check this 1 out on the big screen!

I'll start by saying that if this were a movie with totally original characters and didn't claim to be the history of Wolverine, it wouldn't be a bad story. But if you know anything about the X-Men AT ALL you will be sorely disappointed. It's a mishmash of like ten different story arcs, warped and loosely patched together in whatever way the producers felt would sell the most tickets. Neither Mariko Yashida or Alpha Flight are even mentioned. Sabretooth is portrayed as a hobo/serial killer. Their team was made up mostly of characters that don't exist in the comics. And "Gambit" doesn't even have a Cajun accent. I'll attribute half my ticket price as just compensation for the generous glimpse of Hugh's butt, but the rest was a total waste.
