Oh Victor, what have they done to you?

I'll start by saying that if this were a movie with totally original characters and didn't claim to be the history of Wolverine, it wouldn't be a bad story. But if you know anything about the X-Men AT ALL you will be sorely disappointed. It's a mishmash of like ten different story arcs, warped and loosely patched together in whatever way the producers felt would sell the most tickets. Neither Mariko Yashida or Alpha Flight are even mentioned. Sabretooth is portrayed as a hobo/serial killer. Their team was made up mostly of characters that don't exist in the comics. And "Gambit" doesn't even have a Cajun accent. I'll attribute half my ticket price as just compensation for the generous glimpse of Hugh's butt, but the rest was a total waste.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
