We enjoyed the Wolverine movie. Good plot, interesting twists, and pretty good special effects. Really enjoyed Gambit being in the movie because he was left out of the other X-men movies. Don't leave when the credits start rolling - there's a 2nd ending.

Good: Great story, great action sequences, good introduction of some current x-men
Bad: Poor CG at times, overacting at times
Overall: it was a good movie, just expected a little more with such big names and a hollywood budget

For all the Hugh Jackman lovers this is as close as it gets to heaven. He lends a new name to swagger with his bad boy motorcycling and fierce facial expressions. This films includes a great cast of sexy men, a la Ryan Reynolds and Wil I am, hilarious comedic moments and all the action desired of an X-men comic feature. Combined with expert editing, wardrobe and cinematograpy there is no room for disappointment. Guys enjoy a good fight and ladies get your Hugh on.

I loved the movie and tried not to listen to any other reviews before seeing it myself. I loved the acting between Liev & Hugh. Their chemistry onscreen was great. I can't wait for the next installment of the X-men series.

Wolverine was exactly what I was hoping for. It connected well to the other X films and the movie was well cast. It was action packed and had a good story. I would definitely recommend it to others. Stay for the end credits.

I thought this movie was great fun. After I saw it, I couldn't understand all the bad reviews I'd seen from reviewers and fannish websites. It was enjoyable and cool and the only minor part that I didn't understand was easily explained after the show by a line I must've missed. I say go!

The movie is a good movie but it is not a Wolverine movie. The story is not even close to the comicbook series. There is the usual eyecandy you would expect in a Marvel based movie. Gambit didn't even have an accent. Sabertooth and Wolverine are brothers???? Had I not grown up reading the comic book I probably would have liked the movie more. I just think the movie didn't quit get the Wolverine character right

Overall, the movie was decent. No single giant plot hole or gaffe ruined it. There were just lots of little problems here and there that kept it from really shining. Unrealistic Hollywood dialogue and delivery (no natural ums, ahs, stutters or interruptions). Some really poorly done CGI in a couple scenes. Logan's haircut never changes during history. Surgery performed in nonsterile conditions. Stabbing weapons that pull away with no blood. Historically incorrect weapons. Weak/nonexistent Cajun accent for the southern character. Gimmicky powers for the end villain.
The two leads, playing brothers, had good chemistry and believable sibling rivalry. Non-comic-buffs like me will have no problem. Plenty of good fights and explosions.

Don't listen to the reviews on ths one. They are ike the weather people who can't even get the weather right. This movie was action packed from the beginning. It was everything I thought it would be. Wolverine is one hot mutant I wouldn't mind getting to know better. Go see this movie, you won't regret it.

Although X-men launched Wolverine and there is that mis-percepton that Wolverine as a stand
alone is a stretch; prepare to be surprised as this fine work of movie making is anything but a stretch. Wolverine works very well at every level.
Story, Cast and chemistry, Special effects, Beautiful cinematography and Good score.
This movie treads nicely, not one scene is overdone or boring. Enjoy it as it works on all levels especially that of pure entertainment.

This movie cleared up a number of things which also opened the door to a possible follow up. The addition of supporting characters was clean as was the explanation of Wolverine's abilities. The ebb and flow of the movie made sense and the time in the theater passed easily.
It also left great questions for follow up. It would have been nice if they had kept the younger version of storm in it (you would have noticed her in earlier versions of the trailers). Overall, it was a solid start.

I liked the film. It kept my attention and was full of action but definitely could have had more plot development. I would have liked to learn more about at least a few of the other mutants and their powers. I hate sequel endings but definitely enjoyed this film more than the third one in the series, as I still can barely even remember that one, it was so forgettable.

The whole movie was really stale, from fx to character development. Left me wanting more of other characters. They were more interesting than wolverine since we already know about him from the first 3 x-men movies...... Did we really need another one of wolverine? However, there were a few witty moments.

I've been a long time comic fan and Wolverine is one of my favorites. This movie had some potential, but I think making it to a PG-13, held it back. Jackman was the star and was able to pull off this movie, and the others worked well also, by the movie itself never really took off. I think, hopefully they will release a unrated version on Blue Ray, it could be a better movie, but a nice start to the summer blockbusters..

This was a cheese fest, no depth flick about a comic book hero who is all depth and never cheesy. This movie had all the potential to be a great super hero franchise film like Batman or even Spiderman. Unfortunately is was just lacking in so many departments. I don't even know where to begin about what was wrong. The acting was lame, the character development was poor, the writing was superficial and it generally just blew. Whatever, way to take the coolest XMen character and make him a dork.

I had read a paid reviewers comments about this movie and almost decided to wait for the rental/cable run. I'm glad I did not. Good action and special effects.
I do agree with one of the other reviewers on this site that the character development for some of the supporting roles could have been better.
I also hated for the old couple to die.

I was disappointed in last 3 x-men prequels
but this one is pretty good. Good Action, Graphics, Character interaction was pretty applausible. Only flaw in this movie that some storylines are hard to understand (messy)

It was a very intense movie. I recommend it if you like non stop action. I didn't think the ending I saw was that great, but who knows maybe I saw the worst ending. I hope on the DVD they put all the endings so I can see them. It annoys me that there is no true ending. I want to know what REALLY happen not what could have happen

as expected, lived up to the hype pretty much. good action, and enough of the token character development to pull you in. some formulaic and cheesy parts, but they were to be expected in a comic book film. hugh jackman brings a lot to the character and is always enjoyable to watch. special effects make it worth seeing in a theater for sure.
