Sabertooth is Logans half brother, why didn't they portray this is the 1st X-men movie?
The 1st 40 minutes of this film is lame, VERY BORING.
I didn't know I was going to see a Love story!
The new characters were NOT given enough screen time , it didn't show enough of what they can do. Emma Frost was a huge WASTE OF SCREEN TIME, POOR GIRL...
And don't waste your time waiting for the different ending after the credits. It only lasts 5 seconds, but , it seems as though there will be another X-Men movie. I only hope the new characters will get more screen time to show what they can do.
Overall I give this film a "C-" sorry folks.

This movie is really good. It explains where Wolverine comes from. It has some decent fight scenes. Unfortunately, you know the ending because you've seen X-men so there's not a lot of suspense there.

The movie was not true to the actually story line of Wolverine. Now don't get me wrong if you go into the movie not knowing Wolverines history as well as some of us Geeks this movie will captivate you. It has very good action and a followable storyline. It still garnered 4 stars based on the action and special effects. Gambit was very well played, they could have easily added more scenes for this very intriguing character.

D movie was 2 please those that R followers of D XMEN series. My daughter said it had ‘interesting points’ it was easily boring 2 her, she kindly gives 3 stars. My wife thought it helped 2 put N2 place empty areas of D movie series; she gives it 3.5 stars and liked the movie. Myself 47, I say that it lacked fun, happy excitement that is usually mixed N2 D action, pushed through areas (of those who appeared N this movie) of life & characters so fast that I blinked & missed some of D scenes. Final point, 4 myself, a 2 out of 5 stars; 1, Because it would B entertaining 2 go see when 1 has nothing else 2 do that day. 2, it irritated me enough 2 write this review which is only the 2nd 1 I have ever written N my life?

I watched this movie despite the negativity I've heard. It wasn't that bad... but it sure was lacking. The action was great, but the story, idk. Granted the stories of the movies don't line up exactly with the comic, but this is a bit too off.
Like someone else said, I think the way he lost his memory was too inadequate of a concept for me to believe. Also, I was a bit disappointed with the actors they chose to represent Gambit and Wade. Gambit wasn't as cool or French as he should've been, and I think they should've used someone else for Deadpool (I can't take Reynolds seriously).
Overall, it was a good movie, but with lobbed off heads and blades to the sternum, Idk how a PG-13 rating was accomplished.

Good movie. My 8 & 6 year old really enjoyed it too. Really helped explain the history of Wolverine. Ryan Reynolds was also suprisingly good. Usually don't care for him. Good story line. Fills in questions left open by the other movies. Would be cool if maybe a TV series came out for background info on the xmen rather then movies.

This movie has lots of action, Love to see other characters and mutants in the movie. I did however wanted to see more of Gambit and his roll. Over all, I think the movie was awsome. Perfect addition to the X-men Trilogy. I took my boys to see the movie, they loved it. I would say that this movie contains violence but not as much to not take a 10 year old to see. A little nudity of a mans bottom but nothing drastic. I recommend watching this movie.

I will always be a Marvel fan. Definitely a X-men fan! I was blown away by X-Men Origins: Wolverine because I never knew about Wolverine history. I know that the movies reivent the comic yet it was still good. I do agree with other reviews I just read like, it sure isn't a PG-13 movie and Wolverine claws didn't look authentic. Check out Transformers graphics and then look at Wolvie claws... uh uh. Great Movie especially if your a fan.

I am a lifelong fan of Wolverine, the X-Men and Marvel comics. However, though I enjoyed the movie there was a lot of story not told. I will not ruin it for anyone. Go in with an open mind and without expectation. This way you enjoy the movie and look forward to seeing the extended version.

This is exactly how I like to start my summer off. This movie was everything an action movie should be. I'm a huge fan of X-Men and even more so of Wolverine. This movie did NOT disappoint me in anyway. It was captivating from beginning to end. I saw it opening night and would do it over again, in fact I know I will go see it again.

This movie was excellent. Wolverine has always been my favorite x-men ever since the comics. Hugh Jackman becomes wolverine perfectly. The story is great, the action and fight scenes are great without being overdone and tedious. I especially liked that they tied wolverine to the you-know-what "accident" in 1979 (don't want to give away the surprise!). Movie worth waiting for. Also got to see some future x-men as young kids.

I love the whole X-Men series was always a fan of the cartoons and I l-o-o-v-e Hugh Jackman! HE IS WOLVERINE!! The action was non-stop!! People were clapping when Wolverine beat his crazy brother down and when they joined forces against Weapon 11. I can't wait for the next one, because they now have to show us how Charles Xavier ended up in a wheelchair. Just loved it!.

Enjoyed this one. There were a couple of shots that were a little too melodramatic for me (hello, Wolverine walking into the sunset carrying his wounded girlfriend...), but the action was great, and I still walked out fantasizing about what kind of superpower I would want. : )

This was a fabulous movie with a lot of action, great effects, and good story line!
This is a great addition to the X-Men series and Hugh Jackman does a fabulous job!! Liev Schreiber does a fantastic yet not over the top job in his roll. It tied up a lot of loose ends for me regarding a lot of the characters. I found the memory loss method a bit odd, but not unbelievable.
Stay through the credits on this one!
PARENTS: I agree with other reviews that this should not be a PG-13 rating. The violence, cutting, slicing, etc are not suited for children. Please think twice before bringing children to this movie!
