What a great movie. In all the Marvel movies, this by far was the greatest. It was action packed and had a great storyline. XMO: Wolverine was the best movie I've seen in a long time...it was over and above entertaining.

I really liked this movie. I've never really been into comic books and was not aware of any of the backstory on Wolverine other that what was reavealed in the XMEN movies. Not sure if that is good or bad when seeing this movie - but as a straight up super hero movie I thought it worked really well. It made me want to read up on Wolverine and the other characters that were pulled in from the Marvel Universe.

Although it was nice to see a lot of the elements of the story line onscreen, the movie climaxes early and just manages to stay slightly afloat after the first half hour. Wolverine seems to have lost his ability to convey his "animal" side effectively. Thankfully this movie is only 107 minutes long and you don't get dragged for too long.

my wife and I went to see XMO for my birthday. I didn't walk into the theater expecting a blockbuster, so I really liked the film. I enjoyed getting 'Jimmy's' background in the first minutes of the movie. Overall I liked getting the backstory, just what a prequel should do. I wouldn't compare it to the other X films, this film doesn't have Patrick Stewart or Ian McClellan who are tremendous.

Overall the movie was entertaining - the cast was great - Hugh played the "tortured" Wolverine perfectly! The timing was a little off - super slow in some parts and frantic in others. All-in-all, it just felt like it was missing that something extra that would have really made it great. (I'll still see it again and buy it though :-)

Fantastic! I loved the first two X-Men movies and this filled helped fill in the blanks. Gamut is awesome and though Saber Tooth is a bad guy in the movie, his character was played perfectly. As always, Hugh Jackman is a HOTTIE!!! and is ripped in the movie. It had some awesome fight sequences and great effects. I think everyone should check it out at the theaters!

Don't listen to the critics. See the movie and make up your own mind. It's not a perfect movie but it is a nice introduction to Wolverine. I don't understand the complaints in some of the reviews, such as why was he in the Civil War. He was a mercenary. Where should he be? They could have done a little more character development, explaining Wolvie's strong sense of right and wrong and personal responsibility. But Wolvie's over 160 years old -- they're going to have to skip some stuff.

Not being an avid follower of the comic, I highly enjoyed the story. It was action filled, yet the human element is very present. The emotion that drives the characters shone through in their actions and reactions.

I thought this X-Men "next step" movie was pretty good. I was left with some unanswered questions brought on by the last 3 movies and the movie itself. I felt these questions should of been answered because I saw the last 3 X-Men movies and this being a where it all begins should of answered more. Ok so on that aspect it's not perfect. All in all it is very good for the Logan fans! It's well worth the ticket price.

Saw Wolverine on Saturday. I cheered and yelled at the screen. Those that say eh, whatever to this movie, sometimes you just have to let the movie take you away. Let your imagination go and take a ride. The acting was superb, loved the back story and the other "mutants". I love the fact that Logan felt air sick just like a real person would. That is why Stan Lee is such a brilliant man, he makes these characters real. And I loved Gambit. Bring on the X-Men origins part two!

I highly recommend this movie if you love action. It gave the story and the characters involved a better understanding. The ending led right up to the beginning of the first X-men movie and if you loved all the other X-men movies you'll love this one too. I really enjoyed this movie.

The movie was really good. The story was well explained and the ending brought the story to a close nicely.
For someone who doesn't read the comics and enjoys the movie versions "as they are", I think it worked out nice and I look forward to seeing any future origin stories.

This is a comic book movie. I never expect Oscar performances, or deeply provoking plots from a comic book movie. Just a solid couple of hours of lively bash-boom-kapow, and a reasonable amount of respect for the comic and back story. Given that, Wolverine delivered well. In short, I came out of the movie feeling that I got a good return on my ticket price and happy that I went. It should be watchable and entertaining even by those who haven't read the comics. And much better than some of the previous X-Men movies. I'd rank it roughly even with the Spiderman series, but below the newest Hulk remake or Iron Man.

First of all, I will say I am a big X-Men fan. Watching the movie, I noticed the innaccuracies, but didn't mind most of them. Overall, the movie was very good, liked it a lot. It just didn't blow me away. Some of the special effects were lackluster and looked a little too fake. The story was good and easy to follow. I would definatly recommend that you go see it, but don't expect it to change your life.

I've been waiting for this movie since i was 12 years old about 15 years ago now. First of all PARENTS THIS IS NOT A KIDS MOVIE AT ALL DO NOT TAKE THEM UNLESS THEY ARE OVER 16. I think they did an OK Job at no point in the movie was i overly excited neither did it have my heart racing. The use of Gods name in vain really threw everything about wolverine out the window for me and destroyed one of my favorite chilhood comics. It seems most movies right now all have G.D. or J.C. used in them with no thought like they needed A shocker but Gods not pleased and thats why this country is in the mess we are in now. Next time a move drops gods name in vain I'm just gonna walk out!! $$$money$$$ is the key here folks they don't care about the fans

Although I'm easily amused with the action genre, I still see the cheeseball lines and in some instances, poor CGI in a few scenes that make you lift an eyebrow. But overall Wolverine is a great movie, and will satisfy most fans of the comic books. The action is fast and furious, and the emotions and adrenaline run high in almost every scene, especially with Wolverine's brother, acted very well by Liev Schreiber. I give it a B+.

This movie rocked it for me!!! Hugh Jackman has really given life to the Marvel character Wolverine. This was a great way to start off the summer movie season! The cameo appearances were great and the storyline was very consistant in my opinion. I felt that they did a great job bringing everyone together and keeping it fluid. Now I can't wait for the DVD!

As a fan of the other three Xmen movies who considers Wolverine her favorite character, I had been excited for months about this movie. Then I heard some bad reviews and was worried that it would disappoint so I went into the theatre with mixed expectations. My boyfriend had pretty low expectations. We both loved it!! We thought it was very well done, entertaining and a great plot. It explained a lot of things that you wonder about in the later films, although leaves some open holes itself. The chemistry is touching and the action was fabulous and entertaining. And Gambit was great! Overall, great movie, sure to entertain. Go see it!!

I enjoyed this move. The plot and characters were believable. The cinematography and most of the special effects were great too. However, some were a bit far fetched (i.e. the scene at the very end of the credits, and the waterfall). The action and the fight scenes were top notch.
The casting was great. I thought all the actors displayed a very convincing performance. I like it a lot better than the last two X-men films. Wolverine is the man! Great job Marvel Team.
