I love the sly humor and beautiful music of the PHC. I've listened to it for years and it's as good as it's ever been.

Don't listen to the critics. See the movie and make up your own mind. It's not a perfect movie but it is a nice introduction to Wolverine. I don't understand the complaints in some of the reviews, such as why was he in the Civil War. He was a mercenary. Where should he be? They could have done a little more character development, explaining Wolvie's strong sense of right and wrong and personal responsibility. But Wolvie's over 160 years old -- they're going to have to skip some stuff.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
